She’s social and adaptable — great with other cats and tolerant of dogs — and would fit beautifully into a calm, loving home. Sunshine’s story hasn’t been easy. She survived the streets, endured neglect, and became a mom while still practically a kitten herself. Her body carries a few reminders of that rough start, but her spirit? Unbreakable. Sunshine is a special-needs cat, but don’t let that scare you off. She takes a simple liver medication every other day (about $30/month) and happily eats it when mixed into her raw food diet. When she stays on her routine, she’s healthy, playful, and thriving — no symptoms at all. The only time she struggles is if she sneaks into regular canned food, which can upset her stomach.
