Please consider sponsoring a cat. For a little as $10 a month you can help us help more animals in need.I'm Sombra - I'm a senior Siamese and I'm Animal Allies' designated grumpy cat. Here's the thing though - I'm not really grumpy. That's just my cute, little face! My owner passed away, but luckily a kind neighbor is fostering me while I wait to find my fur-ever home. I love to be brushed and petted, and taking naps in comfy beds. I don't mind having kitty roommates as long as they don't get all up in my business!  Sombra's special need: Sombra is blind in one eye. Our vets determined her eye does not need to be removed, but occasionally she may need eye ointment if boogies accumulate. She's a good patient and it's easy to apply.            Our adoption fees are $75.00 for any kitty 6 months of age or older. $85 for kittens under 6 months of age. Included in each adoption: age appropriate shots, microchip, and spay/neuter surgery. All kitties are litterbox trained. Story
Simon is a striking 7-year-old chocolate point Siamese with a “stop-you-in-your-tracks” blue eye that tells a story of quiet resilience and charm. He now has just one eye, after the other was removed due to microphthalmia, a condition he was born with that left the eye underdeveloped. The good news? Cats like Simon adapt beautifully, and he requires no extra care compared to his two-eyed companions. This gentle boy started out shy, but like a slow sunrise, he’s blossomed into a true sweetheart during his time at the sanctuary. These days, Simon can often be found waiting patiently by the gate, ready to greet visitors and politely request some well-earned pets. He may still be a little nervous at times, but one thing is clear, Simon is ready to have a family of his very own. He gets along well with dogs, cats, and kids, making him a wonderful fit for a loving home willing to give him a little patience and a lot of love. Simon is neutered, vaccinated, FIV/FeLV negative, microchipped, and on prevention. His adoption fee is $175. If you’re looking for a soft soul with a brave heart and a quiet kind of magic, Simon is waiting to meet you. Please remember: Unless otherwise specified, all our kittens and cats are strictly indoor pets. If you’re interested in adoption, please visit straylovefoundation.org and complete an adoption application. Every rescue in our care receives comprehensive vetting, which includes: A combo test Deworming Spay/neuter procedures Vaccinations Microchipping We take every possible step to ensure their health and happiness, giving them the best chance at a long, fulfilling life. While we do everything in our power to provide healthy rescues, it's important to note that some animals may have genetic health conditions we cannot predict (since we don’t have their family history). Additionally, medical tests—though highly reliable—can occasionally yield false negatives. Unexpected health issues may arise, either before or after adoption, but thanks to our thorough vetting process, the likelihood of a long and healthy life is very high. Additional adoption details: Transportation fees, if applicable, vary based on distance and expenses. Home checks may be conducted. Our standard tax-deductible adoption donation is $168. For special breeds, uniquely colored, or exceptionally adorable rescues, we may request a higher donation to help cover vet expenses. Can't adopt? Consider donating, sponsoring, or volunteering! Story
Meet Diesel! Diesel is a handsome 13-year-old chocolate point Siamese with a big voice and an even bigger personality. He was adopted by a family, but after things didn’t work out with their dogs, he came to the sanctuary. Shortly after arriving, we noticed something wasn’t quite right, and Diesel was diagnosed with diabetes. Thanks to quick care and treatment, his glucose levels are now stable and he’s doing great. He currently takes Bexacat, a once-daily pill for diabetes, and happily takes it in a pill pocket with no fuss. He has been absolutely perfect with his medication routine. Diesel is also on a prescription diet to help manage his diabetes and keep him feeling his best. Diesel is wonderfully vocal and loves to chat, especially when he’s looking for attention. He enjoys being doted on, loves interactive toys and treat puzzles, and is quite the little puzzle master. True to his Siamese nature, Diesel likes affection on his terms and will happily let you know when it’s time for attention. Diesel needs a very specific home where he can truly thrive. He must be the only animal in the home and is not good with dogs. He is also not a fan of kids and requires an adult-only household. Because he is declawed from a previous home, Diesel must remain strictly indoors and cannot go outside at all. However, he absolutely loves relaxing on a safe, screened-in patio where he can watch the world go by. If you’re looking for a classic Siamese companion with plenty of personality and conversation to share, Diesel may be your perfect match. He’s ready to find a calm, loving home where he can rule the roost and be someone’s devoted companion.  Please remember: Unless otherwise specified, all our kittens and cats are strictly indoor pets. Story
Found her roaming outside and thin. I started putting food out for her and she ate a lot each day. I finally trapped her as male cats were chasing her. I took her to my vet and had her spayed, witness tests done, which are negative. I also had her microchipped and a rabies vaccine, and a three month bravecto applied, which prevents worms fleas and ticks. She is unique as she has no tail. She is also on the smaller size.
