This stunning Siamese beauty has already proven just how resilient she is. After lovingly raising her kittens, she came in for her spay surgery much thinner than expected. Because she's naturally shy and semi-feral, it was difficult to tell how much weight she had lost while she was busy being a devoted mom. Bloodwork revealed evidence of feline triaditis, an inflammation that affects the liver, pancreas, and intestines. With medication, a prescription diet, and the dedicated care of her foster family, her bloodwork improved, she regained a healthy weight, and she's now feeling great and ready to find a home of her own. To help keep her feeling her best, she'll need to remain on her prescription diet long-term. While her body has healed, her heart is still learning that people can be trusted. She isn't the kind of cat who will greet you at the door or curl up in your lap. She is handleable and has done wonderfully with the care she needed, but she remains a very shy girl who prefers to observe from a safe distance. She'll need an adopter who understands that trust isn't something that can be rushed. Her foster describes her perfectly: she needs someone who is patient and kind to show her that people are safe and to gently coax her out of her shell. She may never become a social butterfly, and that's okay. She could also be perfectly content as a quiet companion to another friendly cat in the home, enjoying a peaceful life where she can simply be herself. YOU'RE GONNA LOVE ARTHUR AND ALBERT! The only thing better than looking at these stunningly handsome boys is being in their happy, purring presence. They came from a big mess up in Metaline and are as happy as they can be to be in a safe place and have all the food they need at long last. Just think how happy finally having their own family will make them! Arthur, the fluffy flame point, and his buff and white brother Albert, are about 5 months old. They've been neutered, wormed, vaccinated and are perfect boys with their litter box. They get along well with other cats, and we think will be fine with cat friendly canines too, given some time to get used to them. Arthur is Mr. Happy Socks. Just being around his unrestrained, purring joy is guaranteed to bring a big smile to your face. Albert is not only very lovable but a world class fly hunter. Really, any small thing that moves gets his immediate, laser focused attention. He's very good at inventing fun games too, that Arthur is more than happy to join him with. A very bonded pair, they need to be adopted together.
