Story
Meet a very special boy, Nieve. This sweet boy lost his ears in a skiing accident last month and is still recovering. Just kidding, he wanted us to say that because he thought it would be lame if everyone found out that he actually got frostbite while he was hanging outside a cafe in the city. Either way, he is a gorgeous dude. Nieve is about seven, healthy (aside the ear healing) and is very sweet. He would love a home where he can lounge and look at books all day and he promises to be a good boy. He has lots of love to give and we think he is wonderful. Give this guys a chance!

Story
Meet Kona. Born around January 1, 2024, this striking Siamese boy looks like he stepped straight out of a painting, with his dark creamy coat, rich chocolate points, and piercing icy blue eyes that seem to study everything around him. He’s the kind of cat you can’t help but admire—elegant, thoughtful, and quietly captivating. Kona is still a very shy boy who isn’t quite ready for hands-on affection. Right now, he’s more of a “look, don’t touch” masterpiece, observing the world from a safe distance while he learns to trust. He will need a very patient and dedicated adopter who understands that building a relationship with him will take time, consistency, and a gentle approach. But for the right person, the reward of watching him slowly open up will be something truly special. Despite his reserved nature, Kona has a voice—and he isn’t afraid to use it. He’s quite vocal and expresses himself through a variety of soft, thoughtful meows, as if he’s narrating his own inner world. It’s one of the many ways he connects, even while he’s still figuring out how to feel safe. Kona is looking for a calm, quiet home without children, where he can settle in at his own pace. He may do well with other young, playful cats, as their presence could help build his confidence and give him companionship without pressure from people. Kona isn’t the kind of cat who will rush into your arms—but he is the kind who, with time and patience, may choose you. If you’re someone who understands that trust is earned slowly and values the quiet beauty of a shy soul learning to feel safe, Kona may be exactly who you’ve been waiting for. Could you be the safe space he’s been searching for? Story
Named after Kansas' largest city, Wichita may sound like she'd be the sheriff in town, but this little cowgirl is still learning that the world isn't such a scary place. Estimated to have been born around April 19, 2026, this stunning seal point Siamese mix has striking blue eyes, elegant coloring, and a quiet, thoughtful personality that makes earning her trust all the more rewarding. Wichita and her siblings were brought inside from a feral colony so they could leave outdoor life behind and find loving forever homes. While all of the kittens arrived a little unsure of people, Wichita has taken the slow-and-steady approach to learning that humans can be pretty wonderful. She'll need a patient adopter who will let her settle in at her own pace without rushing the process. Once she realizes she's safe, you'll get to see the sweet kitten hiding beneath her cautious exterior. Wichita likes to put on a brave face and has convinced herself she's the toughest kitten in the room. If something isn't quite to her liking, she'll let out the cutest tiny growls as if she's a fierce mountain lion instead of a baby kitten. It's all for show, though. Behind that tough-girl act is a playful, curious kitten who loves romping around with her siblings, chasing toys, and never misses the sound of a can of wet food being opened. Every day she grows a little more confident, and watching her personality blossom is incredibly rewarding. Because she's happiest with feline companionship, Wichita must be adopted into a home with another kitten or a young, playful cat who can help show her the ropes and give her confidence. With a little patience, a lot of love, and someone willing to let her bloom at her own pace, Wichita will prove that even the toughest little cowgirls are really just looking for a place to hang their hat—and a family to call their own. Apply to adopt today: sayvanimals.org/adopt (PLEASE NOTE: Despite what PetFinder, AdoptAPet and other aggregation software systems state - the first step is to submit an application via the link above, NOT send a message through their platforms. Story
Franklin is what happens when the Siamese gene clearly tried to RSVP “yes” but showed up to the wrong party. His brother Seymour, and his sister Kokomo, got the creamy colored coat and blue-eyed vibe, while Franklin and his other brother Griffith ended up as a sleek black domestic shorthair kittens who are absolutely not bitter about it (okay, maybe just a little). These cuties were estimated to be born on 03/23/26. Franklin is a shy-but-sweet youngster who is still figuring out that indoor life comes with things like soft beds, regular meals, and the shocking realization that humans are actually just big, slightly awkward cat servants. He’s learning to trust the world at his own pace and is looking for a patient adopter who understands that confidence is built, not downloaded. Once he warms up, Franklin reveals his playful side—especially when wand toys are involved or when he’s tumbling around with his siblings like he’s training for the Olympic Games in Chaotic Kitten Acrobatics. Because he thrives with feline companionship, Franklin must go to a home with another young, playful cat who can show him the ropes and co-sign his increasingly bold life choices. We also think having a confident kitty by his side will help him continue to blossom up on the social scale - so it's a win win! Story
Named after the Sunflower State, Kansas may have crossed state lines in name only—but she's hoping her journey ends in a forever home! Estimated to have been born around April 19, 2026, Kansas is a beautiful short-haired black and white kitten who looks just like her mama, while the rest of her siblings seem to have inherited their Siamese dad's good looks. Kansas and her siblings came into rescue after being brought in from a feral colony, giving them the chance to leave outdoor life behind and find loving families of their own. While they all arrived a little shy and unsure of this new world, Kansas was the first to realize that people are actually pretty wonderful. She may still take a little time to warm up in new situations, but once she feels comfortable, she transforms into a total lovebug. Ear scratches and butt scratches are her absolute favorite, and she'll happily soak up every bit of affection you're willing to give. Like any kitten, Kansas has a playful side, too. She loves spending her days wrestling with her siblings, chasing toys, and exploring everything around her. And if she hears a can of wet food being opened, you can count on her being first in line for dinner! She's a sweet, gentle girl who continues to grow more confident every day and is sure to blossom in a patient, loving home. Because she's happiest with feline companionship, Kansas must be adopted into a home with another kitten or a young, playful cat who can be her built-in best friend. With a little time, a lot of love, and a few well-placed ear scratches, Kansas will prove that sometimes the best things really do come from the heartland. Story
Named after Kansas' capital city, Topeka may be the "capital" of taking things slow—but once you've earned her trust, you'll discover a heart that's overflowing with love. Estimated to have been born around April 19, 2026, this beautiful kitten came into rescue with her siblings after they were brought in from a feral colony, giving them all a chance to trade outdoor life for the comfort of a forever home. Like her sisters, Topeka was a little unsure of people when she first arrived, and she still prefers to take her time getting to know new faces and surroundings. She can be a bit skittish at first, but all she really needs is a patient adopter who will let her adjust at her own pace. Once she realizes she's safe, Topeka blossoms into a wonderfully sweet girl who absolutely loves gentle pets and quiet affection. Watching her learn to trust is one of the most rewarding experiences, and every little milestone feels like a victory. When she's feeling comfortable, Topeka enjoys spending her days playing with her siblings, chasing toys, and, of course, showing up the moment she hears a can of wet food being opened. She has a gentle, playful personality that's just waiting for the right person to help it shine. Because she's happiest with feline companionship, Topeka must be adopted into a home with another kitten or a young, playful cat who can help build her confidence and keep her company. With patience, kindness, and a little time, Topeka will prove that the best things are worth waiting for. She may be named after the capital of Kansas, but she'd much rather be the center of your heart.
