Not good with cats, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Meiling’s story is one that lingers with you long after you’ve heard it. When she first arrived in August, she was heartbreakingly thin—barely 4 pounds, all delicate bones and uncertainty. No one knew if she’d pull through. But Mei surprised us all. With the steady care of her foster family, she’s bounced back, steadily gaining weight and confidence until she reached a healthy 7 pounds. She’s still got some physical reminders from those hard days—her balance isn’t perfect, and she can be a little unsteady when she moves too quickly—but her gentle spirit shines through. Mei is searching for a quiet, predictable home where calm is the norm. Noisy environments or rambunctious kids stress her out, so she needs a space where she can relax. She’s comfortable around calm dogs but NO other cats. She’s not one to chase toys or get into mischief—she prefers to observe from a soft, sunny perch. Wrestling matches and rough play aren’t her thing; what she loves most is simply being nearby, soaking up the comfort of family life. While in foster care, Mei started having bouts of vomiting. After seeing a specialist, she was diagnosed with Feline Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD)—a chronic condition that can cause stomach problems like vomiting, diarrhea, weight loss, and poor appetite. To keep her healthy, she’s now on a special prescription diet that she’ll need for the rest of her life. It’s not a diet that can be changed or skipped—any deviation could trigger a flare-up. Her food is a bit pricier than average, so her adopter will need to be prepared for that responsibility. Mei is ready for her next chapter. With time, patience, and a loving home, she’ll continue to flourish. If you’re looking for a sweet companion and you have room in your heart (and the budget for her special diet), Mei might be the perfect fit. If you think you’re the one, we’d love for you to apply.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Flapjack and Scone are an irresistibly sweet pair of 3-month-old kittens who are equal parts playful chaos and cozy cuddle bugs. Still young and full of kitten curiosity, they’re at that fun stage where everything is a toy, every corner is an adventure, and every nap is well-earned. These two love to explore, chasing little bursts of zoomies one minute and then curling up nearby for a cozy rest when they’re done. They bring out the best in each other while also showing their own personalities—Flapjack with his playful, bouncy energy and Scone with her soft, sweet, easygoing charm. Flapjack and Scone are ready to bring joy, purrs, and plenty of love to forever homes, whether together or on their own, each one sure to be a wonderful companion.
