Padme was transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Texas. She is a gorgeous lady with a sensitive soul, so getting to know her in the shelter setting has been a bit of a challenge. Padme does not like the hustle & bustle of shelter life, so she spends much of her time hiding. She does like people who talk to her softy and give her gentle cheek scratches, so it is clear that she would like to make a connection but finds this environment too intimidating. We cannot wait for her to find a loving & gentle person or family to get her out of the shelter & into her new life. Padme will need some time to decompress in her fur-ever home, but we believe that she will bond closely with her chosen person.
