Story
My name is Rosemary&#44 and Im an 8-month-old girl with a gentle heart and a curious spirit. I can be a little shy when I first meet new people&#44 but give me a bit of time and a calm approach&#44 and youll see me start to relax and show my sweet&#44 affectionate side. Once I feel safe&#44 I enjoy quiet company and soft pets.

Ive lived with other cats before&#44 and their presence helps me feel more confident&#44 so Id be happy to join a home with a friendly feline companion. Im still young and learning&#44 and Im hoping to find a patient family who understands that I bloom at my own pace.

If youre looking for a soft-spoken sweetheart who will reward your kindness with trust and gentle affection&#44 I might be the perfect match for you.

Story
Meet Meraki Meraki is a 7-year-old Snowshoe point neutered male with a sweet soul and some truly impressive athletic skills. While he’s shy with new people and needs a little time to warm up, those who earn his trust are rewarded with a playful, entertaining companion. Meraki is incredibly agile and loves showing off his parkour-style moves! He enjoys bird-watching, chasing cat toys, and gets along well with other cats. Meraki would do best in a calm home without dogs and with older children or adults who can respect his space while he settles in. If you’re looking for a playful, fascinating cat with a gentle heart, Meraki may be your perfect match If you are interested in meeting Meraki, please fill out an application via our website at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/TRP/Cat and we will get back to you via email once your application has been reviewed. Story
Hope's a middle aged siamese cat, abandoned by its previous owner. Hope's really lovable and funny and cute. He does eat a lot, and he really likes to lay on your chest. He wants a home so that he can stop living day by day wondering if he's going to eat or not. He comes from a house full of cats, but used to be an only child. So he's basically traveled down the spectrum of a happy, loving household to a chaotic hectic crowded one.

Story
Please contact Della @ (kittycityks@aol.com) for more information about this pet. Our adoption center is open both Saturday & Sunday every weekend! Saturday's noon-5pm & Sunday's noon-4pm. Pete is a 13-year-old senior cat looking for a quiet home and an owner to love him. His owner died and it’s been a big adjustment for him to move to a foster home with a lot of cats, some who bully him. Previously, he lived with one cat and several small dogs. Pete is shy with strangers and will likely hide, so he will probably do better in a calm environment. With his family, he wants attention. He’s not a lap cat, but he likes to be nearby and to be petted and have his head scratched. He likes to sleep on the bed near his person but he’s also known to find a cozy, hidden spot where he feels safe and nap there, too. Pete is a picky eater. He loves treats and seems to do best on a dry hairball food. Right now he’s shaved because he was matted. His new owner will need to brush him often. He mostly likes fish wet food but doesn’t always finish it. Pete has been around small kids but would do best in a quiet home with just adults and kids who visit. Pete was born approximately September14, 2012, and his adoption fee is $125. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and deworming, is microchipped, and tested negative for feline leukemia virus. Come see this special boy at our adoption center this weekend! You can visit our adoptable cats and kittens during weekend business hours at our adoption center, address and times above. During the week, all our kitties live in licensed foster homes, and while most do come to the adoption center each weekend, not every kitty attends every weekend. For more information, or to confirm whether a particular cat or kitten will be present that weekend, please email kittycityks@aol.com. Kitty City Kansas Rescue is a volunteer, non-profit organization. December 24, 2025, 12:12 pm
