Siamese kittens & cats in Omaha, Nebraska

Ruca was found as a kitten back in 2013. She is 11 now, and would prefer a quieter environment. We have 3 young kids, which isn’t her preference. She would do best in a quiet house without small children or other animals. She loves to curl up in your lap and snuggle; however, she has an underbite and often “drips” when she purrs. She also sheds a decent amount and loves to be brushed. She will even help you out by grooming herself along with you! In her old age, she also has demonstrated some mobility issues and doesn’t like to go up and down the stairs much. She would do best if her litter box and food were on the same level. She really is a great cat for the right owner; our home just no longer suits her.

Here comes Ms Simian, momma of the Amazing World Litter.  She still has her whole life ahead of her as she is only a couple years old (b. 6/27/22). Ms Simian is taking care of her kittens at their foster home and will be ready to go to her own home mid-August.  We’ll share updates as we learn more about her personality and furever needs! Please Note:  Ms Simian will not be available until after her kittens are adopted on 8/16/24. We encourage you to apply now so we can begin the adoption process and she can go to her forever home after her kittens are old enough to leave momma. The suggested adoption donation for Ms Simian is $65, which includes a lifetime of free relationship-based training for any behavioral problems (not obedience training).  Muddy Paws is a 501c3 non-profit organization meaning that part of your donation MAY be TAX DEDUCTIBLE. We are a 100% volunteer rescue committed to giving animals a second chance at life. All donations go toward that mission. Adoption fees are the primary source of funding for the cost of veterinary care for our animals. In 2022 alone, we provided animal Healthcare totaling over $399,000 covered mainly through adoption fees. Information about the adoption process: All adoptions require a completed ADOPTION APPLICATION. Once your application has completed our prescreen steps, we will put you in touch with the animal’s foster to see if you and the pet are a good match. If so, we will arrange a meeting for you and the animal. The adoptions for all of our animals will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. We do not ship or deliver. Please Note: We are a RESCUE, which is different from a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks, and a Home Visit (Virtual in some cases) during the application approval process. We always select the right applicant for each animal, based on the animal’s needs. If you and the animal are not a good match, we will help you select another animal, or we will keep your approved application on file for 6 months. Mocha is FIV positive. All he wants to do is lay on your lap. If you’re by a table and he’s on it, he will reach his paws up for you to pick him up. He is a sweet old boy who just needs a home to live out his life. He does have issues with defecating where he shouldn’t….
