Story
Meet three year old stunning little Layla! She is sweet and calm and just so beautiful! She was surrendered to us by her owner, because the resident cat was bullying her to the point that she would just hide. She loves to be brushed and held...really just pampered like the beauty queen she is. We think she would do best in a quiet home and maybe as your only angel! Could you open your heart and home to this beautiful kitty I wonder? I come spayed/chipped/de-wormed/vaccinated/snap tested. If you are interested, my adopt fee is $125.00, please submit an application at: https://forecloseduponpets.org/cat-adoption-application/

Story
I'd like to introduce you to Lucas (Siamese) and Frodo (all black DLH). These two big boys are a BONDED pair, approximately 10 years old and must stay together. Several years ago they were scheduled to be put down at TAF for bullying other cats and rescued just in time. Their owner lived and kept them in a small RV until she moved into a rental unit with dogs that did not like cats. A friend has been caring for them for the past few years, but since the friend had cats of her own (which the boys did bully), they have been confined to a bedroom with an attached outdoor catio to give them a bit more room and freedom. The original owner was supposed to take the cats back at some point, but moved and left them with the friend who also now has to move. She really won't have the extra room to continue to give them their own space and catio. More importantly, it's not really fair to continue to do that to them. They deserve better! Even though they pick on other cats - especially females, they absolutely love and adore people. They could really use a home where they could finally have a bit more room to be cats and get more love and affection from a person, or two. Their human interaction has been limited because of the separation from the rest of the household. They are good size boys, still active and like to climb and play. They will need a heavy duty cat tree, scratching post and lots of attention. They are kind of like dogs and can get into trouble when they're bored. They need to be in a home with no other cats. Friendly dogs are probably ok, but there should be a test run to be sure. They come with their custom built catio if the adopter can figure out how to haul and move it. They are not required to take it, but the boys absolutely love spending time in their catio. They do eat a high quality hairball control dry food. If on the cheap stuff, Frodo will vomit hairballs almost daily. Since on this food the vomiting is pretty infrequent, they've lost weight and are in good health despite never having been taken to the vet by the previous owner. They will also go with a bag of food to get the new owner started. The current care taker has gotten them check ups and up to date on vaccines. Frodo should be brushed regularly, but does do well at the groomer if his coat gets tangled.
