COURTESY POST...FOR ADOPTION! These beauties need new homes. GRACE and MATEO are a four-year-old bonded pair of siblings. Grace has a distinct black patch on her face and is the gentlest soul; she loves giving affection and will happily groom you as a sign of love. Mateo, her brother, has a funny “old man” meow that perfectly matches his calm, endearing nature. They’re both house-trained, sweet, loving cats who deserve a caring home where they’ll be cherished. They are very good with dogs and other cats. Call ShKeria at 472-203-1323 for more information. *NOTE: The SCHS is not responsible for illness, injuries or possible misrepresentation related to courtesy posts. Story
NALA is beautiful on the outside but temperamental on the inside. Surrendered to the SCHS because she was combative with the other cat in the home, she is playful but will dictate when she wants what. She's definitely made progress at the SCHS, even wanting attention. Then, out of nowhere, she'll pop you to let you know she's done. She must go to an experienced cat owner and be an only cat. The standard adoption fee is $100 cash or $105 debit/credit. This includes feline testing, vaccines, spaying/neutering, micro-chipping and de-worming. You may complete an application to start the adoption process at www.stanlycountyhumanesociety.org, under the 'Adoption' tab. Like us on facebook at Stanly County Humane Society Cats. Story
We rescued Luca from a horrible situation where he was eaten with fleas & abandoned. However, we have decided to try & find him a forever home that would be more suited for him. We already own cats (all indoors as we don’t believe in outdoor cats) we tried the normal integration & it just isn’t working. the cats rejected Luca due his inability to speak cat/properly or understand. He was abandoned too early by his mom & all his siblings were presumed passed. (we just know he was alone early/not socialized properly with other cats) He needs to be with someone who knows how to handle a cat with special needs socially (perhaps one calm cat friend?) We want him to have stress free life & be able to feel happy and safe instead of scared. He is a good cat, but he is the definition of a cat who only comes when he wants to. He is self efficient & only requires social needs adjustment. We are willing to drive wherever. He’s well behaved and doesn’t even get on counters. He just needs love/safety

Story
I rescued Momma Cat 2 years ago. She kept having kittens in my neighborhood. I took in three of her kittens/cats. When I finally was able to get her inside my house I learned she was pregnant again. I kept all 5 of her kittens from that litter. I got her spayed, microchipped, tested negative her for feline AIDS/Leukemia (negative results), and her vaccinations. In the last few months my boy cats have been harassing Momma Cat. She started to hide and would only come out late at night. As soon as she sees another cat or dog she would hide again. She doesn’t seem happy and is not living her best life here. I would love her to go to a loving home so she can be happy again.
