With patience and respect for her boundaries, Hersheys has the potential to grow more comfortable, but for now, she’s perfectly content setting the pace herself.

Desmond is a stunning lynx-colored gentleman with soft medium-length fur and icy blue eyes. His beautiful tabby-point coloring gives him a refined look—but beneath that is a sensitive soul who just needs a little time to settle in. As an adult cat, Desmond prefers to take things at his own pace. He’ll thrive in a home that understands patience and lets him come out of his shell on his own terms. Once he feels safe, you’ll start to see his true, gentle personality. Desmond isn’t the type to demand attention right away, but for someone willing to give him that extra bit of understanding, he’ll become a rewarding companion in the home.

Alfie is an owner surrender who is still adjusting to a lot of recent changes and recovering post-surgery 🐾. He tends to stay toward the back of his kennel, with slightly dilated pupils, and may pull back a bit when first approached. However, if you move slowly and give him time, he accepts gentle petting and will engage with an offered finger without hesitation. Outside of the kennel, he can be unsure in new environments, often hiding in a cubby or under furniture with a hunched posture and watchful eyes, especially reacting to fast movements or activity nearby. With calm energy and a patient approach, he begins to relax and will lean into affection once he feels safe. He is adoptable and would do best with an understanding adopter who is willing to give him the time and space he needs to decompress and build trust at his own pace ❤️ Alfie came from a hoarding situation where other cats had ringworm. While he is showing no signs and is currently available for adoption, we do recommend adopters take simple precautions just to be safe

Evelyn is also incontinent, so she’ll need someone willing to learn her care routine—but she makes it easy with her gentle nature and grateful heart.
