Meet Xena-Quiet Beauty Seeking a Patient Forever Home! The adoption application can be found here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/Cat Xena is currently in Houston, Texas but can be transported to the Northeast, the Pacific Northwest, Colorado, or locations along their route. Xena is a gorgeous Lynx Point Siamese with a gentle soul and a sweet personality, She can be a little timid when first meeting new people or adjusting to a new environment, but with a little patience and understanding, she blossoms into a loving companion. While Xena is okay with other cats, she prefers not to be in the middle of all the action and would be happiest in a home with few or no cats, where she can have her own space. Once she feels comfortable, her affectionate nature begins to shine, and she enjoys spending time with the people she trusts. Xena is looking for a calm, loving home where she can settle in at her own pace and build a strong bond with her new family. If you're searching for a sweet, gentle companion who will reward your patience with love and loyalty, Xena may be the perfect match. Xena is spayed, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and in great health. She does a great job of keeping her litterbox tidy. All she needs now is his forever home! Priority will be given to applicants interested in adopting a pair of kittens, siblings, or who have patient, playful resident cats or dogs at home. Information on why adopting two kittens together is best for their short- and long-term health and behavior can be found here: http://www.kittenlady.org/twokittens --- ABOUT OUR ADOPTION FEES: Our adoption fees include spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchipping, and transportation costs. Also, when you adopt from ROSES Rescues, you’re doing more than giving your new family member a home. Each adoption fee sponsors a cat on the streets of Houston to get fixed, helping end the cycle of overpopulation in a rough environment. We thank you so much for your contribution to our efforts! Meet Luke! The adoption application can be found here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/Cat Luke is currently in Houston, Texas but can be transported to the Northeast, the Pacific Northwest, Colorado, or locations along their route. Luke is a stunning Siamese cat with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Affectionate and people-oriented, he loves being around his humans and is always ready for pets, attention, and companionship. This handsome boy has a playful side and especially enjoys wrestling and chasing around with his foster sibling, Praline (M) who is also available for adoption. Luke is confident and tends to be on the more dominate side with other cats, so he may do best with a feline friend who appreciates his leadership style. One of Luke's most charming qualities is how dog-like he is. He enjoys being involved in whatever you're doing, follows his people around, and thrives on interaction. Whether he's playing, supervising household activities, or curling up for affection, Like wants to be part of the family. If you're looking for a loyal, loving companion with plenty of personality, Luke may be the perfect match for you. Luke is an neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and in great health. He does a great job of keeping his litterbox tidy. All he needs now is his forever home! Luke does great with other rough and tumble cats or would do great with a cat friendly dog. Priority will be given to applicants interested in adopting a pair of kittens, siblings, or who have patient, playful resident cats or dogs at home. Story
Lucille is a sweet, outgoing gal who is seeking her new home. She was originally a stray feline who lost her way, but now seeks a life of luxury -- no more street life for this girl! She loves attention from staff, and likes giving head butts. Since Lucille was a stray we are unsure of any past experiences she has had with canines and children, but with a slow introduction we feel she could be fine with cat-savvy canines and children. She has been introduced to felines here in our colony rooms, and she is tolerating their presence as long as they give her space.

Story
Azul is a stud muffin of a big boy cat. We don’t know what is bigger – his beautiful blue eyes or his enormous round head. We estimate him to weigh around 15 lbs and believe he is around 5-6 years old. Azul was found roaming a neighborhood along the Texas Mexico border, where a good Samaritan saw him and knew she had to help him. He was super scrawny, covered in fleas, tons of missing hair and scabs all over his body. After about 6 weeks, Azul is fully healed, all of his hair has grown back, and he is ready for his forever home. Despite his age, he is very playful and active. He loves to be around people and loves to play with his toys. Cuddling is one of his favorite things. Azul is in a foster home where he is around other cats and dogs. Even though he is big, he gets along wonderfully with other cats! He has met dogs in the current foster home and has no issues with them. He can live happily with other dogs and cats in the home! Azul would love to be a lap cat and be loved every day and all day. He does NOT mark. Azul is neutered, current on age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped and given a clean bill of health from a veterinarian prior to adoption/transport. PLEASE READ ABOUT AZUL: Azul is a sweet, gentle soul who has recently tested positive for FIV. This means he needs an indoor-only home where he can be pampered and live a long, healthy life. FIV-positive cats are often the most affectionate! Azul is a total lovebug who is looking for a cozy spot to nap and a family to love. Don't let FIV scare you — it's just a label, not a limitation! He is a very healthy boy that you would not even know had FIV if not for the test. Most cats don’t show symptoms! Please consider reading some facts about FIV and let us know if you would still like to be considered for his adoption. Azul is ready to bring joy to your home. We look forward to hearing back from you. Here are some facts and information to help you learn about FIV: FIV is Not a Death Sentence: FIV is a slow-acting virus that affects a cat's immune system, not a death sentence. Many FIV+ cats live long, normal lives (10-15+ years) and never show symptoms. Perfectly Safe for Families: FIV is not transmissible to humans, dogs, or other non-feline pets. Debunking Myths About Transmission of FIV: Casual Contact is Safe: Contrary to popular belief, FIV is not spread through litter boxes, water bowls, or grooming. Mainly Spreads Through Fighting: The virus is primarily passed through deep, penetrating bite wounds, usually among unneutered, aggressive strays. Safe to Live with Negative Cats: In a stable, non-aggressive home, FIV+ cats can live peacefully with FIV-negative cats. https://www.awlnsw.com.au/find-out-more-about-adopting-an-fiv-cat/ https://bestfriends.org/pet-care-resources/fiv-cats-feline-immunodeficiency-virus-faqs Prior to adopting him, he will receive a clean bill of health from a veterinarian. To apply to adopt you can go to our website at: www.pawsitive-Impact-animal-rescue.org This animal is currently located in Texas, but we do NOT adopt animals out in Texas due to the hundreds of animals being euthanized here daily. We do adopt in Central US and the East Coast. The adoption fee listed INCLUDES transport from Texas to the location where this animal is posted in. His adoption fee is $495 – No additional fees. Transport goes to the following locations every 2-3 weeks Albany, NY Wells and Brattleboro, VT Willington, Enfield, New Haven and Dayville, CT Port Chester, NY Dayon and Akron, OH Grove City and Bloomsburg, PA Ridgefield and Mt Laurel, NJ White Marsh and Falls Church, MD We have happily adopted hundreds of animals this way (long distance), and we do our best to make sure the animal you are applying for is best fit for your home.

Story
Meet Lovell — a bright-eyed little explorer with a heart full of quiet charm and just the right touch of affection. Lovell is about 2 ½ years old, and he’s reached that perfect stage in life where he’s past the wild kitten chaos but still full of curiosity, personality, and playful spirit. The first thing you’ll notice about him is those big, beautiful blue eyes—they’re the kind that stop you in your tracks. They’re expressive, soulful, and always taking in the world around him. Pair that with his soft, adorable little coat, and you’ve got a cat who is truly hard to forget. Lovell is the kind of cat who enjoys life on his own terms—in the best way. He’s independent and confident, happily exploring new rooms, sniffing out every corner, and making himself at home wherever he goes. New environments don’t faze him much; he’s naturally curious and enjoys figuring things out at his own pace. Watching him investigate his surroundings is part of his charm—he’s thoughtful, observant, and just a little bit mischievous in that endearing way cats can be. Watch his YouTube video now https://youtu.be/cBfr2i0JyZI?si=NHKg6Qd_G46kri73 But while Lovell values his independence, he also has a very sweet and affectionate side. He enjoys pets and attention, and when he’s in the mood (which is often), he’ll happily soak up your affection. He’s not overly demanding, but he makes it known when he wants love—and it’s always a special moment when he does. He strikes that wonderful balance between being a companion and giving you space, making him a great fit for someone who appreciates a cat with both personality and independence. One of Lovell’s most charming features is his adorable little meow. He’s a talker, and he isn’t shy about sharing his thoughts with you. Whether he’s greeting you, asking for a bit of attention, or simply commenting on his day, his voice is soft, sweet, and completely irresistible. It adds so much character to him and makes interacting with him feel like a real conversation. Lovell is, at his core, just a really good cat. He’s easygoing, adaptable, and full of quiet personality. He doesn’t need constant attention to thrive, but he absolutely enjoys being part of your world. He would do wonderfully in a home where he can explore, relax, and build a bond at his own pace—someone who understands that the best relationships with cats are built on trust and mutual respect. If you’re looking for a companion who is equal parts curious explorer and affectionate friend, Lovell might just be your perfect match. With his striking blue eyes, gentle nature, and lovable personality, he’s ready to find a home where he can truly belong. Come meet Lovell—you’ll understand why he’s so special the moment he looks at you. Application: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/69f21c8f54924247ec002ad5 Questions? Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This kitty you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties Rescue (3LP) wants to set you and your new family member up for success! In addition to a fully vetted furbaby you also receive other additional perks such as a code for a free bag of cat litter AND a code for 50% off a 2nd bag of litter from Catalyst Pet, coupons for a fun visit to Petco, and support through our Facebook Adopters group where you can connect with thousands of other adopters, 3LP volunteers, fosters and staff. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescues and will require continued efforts but are well on their way to being the best kitties that they can be! We ask that you give them time (can take weeks to months) to decompress in their new home, do slow introductions to other pets and let their true personalities have a chance to come through.  We celebrated our 7 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 16,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below!  https://www.facebook.com/ThreeLittlePittiesRescueSavingKitties/  https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue/  https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue/ *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $87 surcharge for transport.
