Story
Candy is sweetness in feline form! Estimated to be around 3 months old, this lovely little girl carries herself with a gentle grace that makes her comforting presence effortless. There's something undeniably charming about her calm nature, as though she already understands that there's no need to rush through life. She's being lovingly fostered in a home where she's surrounded by care, affection, and other cats as she grows into a beautifully socialized companion. Go watch Candy on YouTube, then come right back to read more. Even in a brand-new environment, you can catch glimpses of the gentle, easygoing kitten her foster family has fallen for. https://youtu.be/_rVdRXOyaYA Like many kittens her age, Candy was a little reserved during her content appointment after traveling away from the place she knows best. That's a completely normal response for a young kitten, and it only makes us appreciate the calm, thoughtful way she handled such a big day even more. Candy is ready for a home where she can continue growing, playing, and sharing that naturally gentle spirit with the family lucky enough to call her their own. To apply to adopt Candy, please complete an application here: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/6a50413b34e18b6c7d01ae0e Questions? Pick-up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private Facebook Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick-up location to you! The adoption fee is $800 and includes all vetting: FVRCP vaccines (minimum of 2 but could be more depending on age and time in the program), FeLV vaccines, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, combo tested, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a health certificate deeming the kitty healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This kitty you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties Rescue (3LP) wants to set you and your new family member up for success! In addition to a fully vetted furbaby you also receive other additional perks such as a code for a free bag of cat litter AND a code for 50% off a 2nd bag of litter from Catalyst Pet, coupons for a fun visit to Petco, and support through our Facebook Adopters group where you can connect with thousands of other adopters, 3LP volunteers, fosters and staff. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescues and will require continued efforts but are well on their way to being the best kitties that they can be! We ask that you give them time (can take weeks to months) to decompress in their new home, do slow introductions to other pets and let their true personalities have a chance to come through. We celebrated our 7 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 16,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Story
Nathan has the kind of face that makes people instinctively lower their voice and say, "Oh my goodness..." He's still so tiny that when he curls up on your chest, he barely takes up any space at all. One minute he's quietly taking in the world around him, and the next he's melted into your arms as if that's exactly where he always belonged. He's the kind of kitten who makes you want to cancel your plans just so you can sit still a little longer and let him nap. Go watch Nathan, the Tiny Cloud of Cuddles on YouTube, then come right back to read more! You'll see this little guy as he gets comfortable, trading his initial shyness for soft snuggles and gentle curiosity. Watch for the way he settles against your chest like it's his favorite place in the world, and don't miss those behind-the-ear scratches that he leans into with complete contentment. It's impossible not to fall for him. Estimated to be almost 2 months old, with a birthday of May 28, 2026, Nathan weighs just 1.5 pounds. He appears to be a fluffy Siamese mix with the softest cream-colored coat, smoky gray ears and tail, and bright blue eyes, though as with all rescue kittens, his breed is simply our best educated guess. Nathan is still figuring out this big world, and he does it at his own gentle pace. New faces might earn a few moments of quiet observation, but he doesn't stay unsure for long. During our time together, it only took a little patience before he decided I was someone worth trusting. Once he made that decision, he completely melted. If Nathan has the choice between exploring every corner of the room or curling up against someone who loves him, he'll happily choose the cuddle. He has a wonderfully calm nature for such a young kitten and seems perfectly content being close to his people. Resting on your chest appears to be one of his favorite places, where he'll settle in like he's discovered the coziest spot imaginable. Behind-the-ear scratches are another quick way to win him over. He leans right into them with the sweetest little expression, looking completely relaxed and content. Moments like that make it easy to imagine quiet evenings with Nathan snoozing beside you after a long day. Like all kittens his age, Nathan will need a family ready to guide him through all the adventures of growing up. He's still learning about the world, and that means continuing to build his confidence, explore new experiences, and discover all the fun that kittenhood has to offer. His gentle personality suggests he'll appreciate kind introductions, patience, and plenty of reassurance as he settles into his new home. If you've been dreaming of a tiny kitten who would rather snuggle into your chest than steal the spotlight, Nathan might just be the little companion you've been waiting for. At only a pound and a half, he's still incredibly small—but there's already so much love packed into this tiny fluffball! If you'd like to welcome Nathan into your family, please submit an adoption application today! Yvonne is the kind of kitten who makes everyone stop and say, "She's so tiny." At just 1.65 pounds, she's still very much a baby, with the fluffiest little coat, striking blue eyes, and a face that's almost too cute to be real. She has a quiet, thoughtful way about her, taking in the world one little moment at a time. Go watch Yvonne, the Tiny Blue-Eyed Beauty on YouTube, then come right back to read more! You'll see a little girl who's still figuring everything out, but whose gentle heart is already beginning to shine through. Watch for the sweet moment where she settles against my chest, quietly taking comfort in simply being close. Estimated to be almost 2 months old, with a birthday of May 28, 2026, Yvonne weighs approximately 1.65 pounds. She appears to be a fluffy Siamese mix with soft gray points and the most beautiful blue eyes, though as with all rescue kittens, her breed is simply our best educated guess. Everything is still new for Yvonne, and she likes to take her time. She's the kind of kitten who appreciates soft voices, gentle hands, and a family willing to let her discover the world at her own pace. During our time together, she wasn't quite sure what to think at first, but once I picked her up, she quietly settled against my chest and stayed there. It was one of those little moments that reminds you just how much trust can grow with a little patience. Like any kitten her age, Yvonne is ready for a home where she can continue building confidence while enjoying everything kittenhood has to offer. Cozy naps, playful adventures, and plenty of love are all waiting for this tiny girl. If you've been dreaming of bringing home a kitten small enough to fit in your hands and sweet enough to steal your heart, Yvonne is ready to meet you. She may be little now, but we have a feeling she's going to grow into an absolutely wonderful companion! Story
Stumpy is a gorgeous 3-year-old Siamese with a personality that's every bit as beautiful as he is. True to his name, Stumpy was born with an adorable little stump for a tail, making him just as unique on the outside as he is on the inside! This sweet boy is an absolute cuddle bug who lives for affection and will happily snuggle up with you whenever he gets the chance. Whether you're relaxing on the couch or heading to bed, Stumpy is always ready to be your loyal companion. He's also a professional biscuit maker! Every now and then, he'll give you a gentle little love bite—just one of his adorable quirks that makes him even more special. Stumpy gets along well with children, dogs, and most cats. Stumpy can be territorial with other male cats. Because of this, he may thrive as the only cat or in a home with female feline companions. Story
Pearl has the kind of confidence that makes you wonder if she's secretly been given the blueprints to every house she's ever lived in. New room? New furniture? Different view from the window? She takes a thoughtful look around, chooses a cozy spot, and settles in as though she's been there for years. It's one of her most endearing qualities. While many cats prefer to spend their first few days hiding after a move, Pearl has always adjusted beautifully to new surroundings. She doesn't waste time worrying about change when there are laps to curl up on, birds to supervise from the window, and quiet afternoons to enjoy! You can go watch Pearl at this link here, then come right back to read more! https://youtu.be/vXnBr7Eaf-Y?si=bh9vJ62cQCihhR6n You'll see her regal fluff on full display as she lounges like she owns every piece of furniture she sits on, those unforgettable blue eyes taking in everything around her, and the calm confidence that makes her feel right at home. She isn't interested in stealing the spotlight with wild antics. Pearl's charm is found in the peaceful moments! The content way she relaxes beside her people, the patient window watching, and the quiet companionship that makes a house feel a little more like home! Estimated to be around 13 years old, Pearl is a stunning long-haired cat with a luxurious cream-colored coat, smoky gray markings, an impossibly fluffy tail, and striking blue eyes that seem to tell a story all on their own. As with all rescue animals, her age is our best educated guess! Life with Pearl is wonderfully uncomplicated. She's happiest when she's close to her people, especially if that means claiming a lap for an afternoon nap or keeping you company while you unwind at the end of the day. She's affectionate in that comforting, familiar way that makes it feel like she's always been part of the family. She's not particularly interested in toys or creating excitement for the sake of it. Pearl has discovered that the simple pleasures are the best ones; a warm lap, a soft blanket, a sunny window, and someone she loves nearby! She's also a smart girl with lovely house manners. Pearl is reliably litter box trained and has done very well with grooming over the years. She's become much more accepting of brushing, though she'd still appreciate it if everyone agreed her tummy could remain a brush-free zone. Every cat is allowed one non-negotiable, and Pearl has chosen hers wisely. While being crated isn't something she'd volunteer for, she settles in calmly once she's inside and waits patiently until it's time to come back out! Pearl enjoys the company of other cats and has done well living alongside feline friends. Dogs, however, simply aren't her cup of tea. She's currently living in a home where the resident cats and dog have to remain separated, and despite everyone's best efforts, there have been repeated disagreements whenever they end up together. Because her family loves her so much, they've made the incredibly selfless decision to find her a home where she can finally relax without the stress of sharing her space with a dog. They want Pearl's next chapter to be filled with comfort, peace, and all the quiet moments she enjoys most! When it comes to people, Pearl is most comfortable around women, though she does well living with adults in general. She's perfectly content sharing a home with men too, but she'd rather make the decision about when affection happens. If someone—particularly the man of the house—decides she'd enjoy being picked up, Pearl is usually quick to disagree. She much prefers hopping into your lap because it was her idea. Somehow, that makes being chosen by Pearl feel even more special! Pearl hasn't had the opportunity to spend much time around young children, so we'd recommend thoughtful introductions and a family that understands how to respect a cat's space. She communicates her preferences clearly and appreciates people who listen! Pearl would be happiest in a peaceful home where she can enjoy the comforts she's come to love: a sunny window for neighborhood watch, a cozy lap whenever the mood strikes, and a family who appreciates that companionship doesn't always have to be loud to be meaningful. If you're looking for a cat whose greatest joy is simply sharing life's quieter moments with you, Pearl may already have a spot picked out beside you!
