Story
Josephine is a wonderful cat located in Fort Collins CO, very shy and tends to live in her cat bed under the human bed. She’s had to move houses several times in the last few years and unfortunately has made her a little ptsd. She does come out in the evenings when it’s darker. She likes to be brushed and petted and loves her ears scratched. Abrupt movements or loud sounds startles her unfortunately. She was my daughter’s cat for many years but she is off to college so she is back with me now. I have a busy work schedule and some traveling i have to do. So I’m looking for a loving home for Josephine, maybe with someone that is home a good majority of the time. Josephine is about 11 years old I believe. Very sweet but shy. She doesn’t scratch furniture but will try to scratch on the carpet sometimes. Overall she is great cat, just shy so she likes to hide under the bed. She will come with two litter boxes. Automatic feeder water bowl and food and cat tree if wanted.

Story
Santo is a 10-year-old long-haired Siamese mix adopted from Animal Friends Alliance three years ago. Before adoption, he had been returned to the shelter multiple times due to litter box issues, which were not disclosed to us at the time and we later learned after contacting the shelter. He is an incredibly sweet, affectionate, and gentle cat who loves to cuddle and be near people.Unfortunately, his litter box issues have been ongoing the entire time we’ve had him and have not improved. He urinates and defecates right next to his litter box every time. We’ve worked with a vet who suspects possible hyperthyroidism and believes further testing and treatment may help.We love him deeply, but as renters we can no longer manage the damage and cleanup. We are looking for a patient home willing to pursue medical care and manage his needs, and we strongly hope to prevent him from ever being returned to a shelter again.
