Siberian kittens & cats in Cambridge, Minnesota

Meet Monty! This sweet boy is a professional purr box with an especially charming collection of little chirps and soft meows. The moment you start petting him, his motor starts up—and once he settles into your lap, you may find yourself wondering how you’re ever supposed to get anything else done! Monty is a gentle, independent guy who likes having a cozy cat cave or quiet hiding spot where he can relax. He can be a little shy and easily startled by loud or unfamiliar noises, but he is becoming more social every day. He warmed up to his rescuers and foster family surprisingly quickly, and once he feels safe and comfortable, he’s happy to come out and seek attention. When he wants some love, Monty will rub against your legs and chirp to let you know he’s ready for pets. Monty is most active at night, when he enjoys exploring, grabbing a snack, and checking out his litter box. During the day, he’s generally busy perfecting the art of the nap. At bedtime, he may curl up at the foot of the bed or settle in close to his people, purring his way through the night. He enjoys string toys and laser pointers, though catnip doesn’t seem to be his thing. He is also a very good boy about using his litter box and scratching only where he’s supposed to. Monty would love a quiet, low-key home where he can take his time getting comfortable and enjoy plenty of peaceful cuddle time. Be prepared, though—once Monty decides your lap is the place to be, you may have a furry little occupant there for a very long time!
