Story
This is Sammy. His official name is Sam Elliott like the actor. He’s incredibly sweet. He’s very quiet, and when he does talk, his voice is shockingly high-pitched. He’s purebred Siberian. His dad is from Russia. I got him from a breeder a couple of years ago. It became clear pretty quickly that he had the chronic herpetic infection in his eyes. So he’s required prednisone and Neo Poly Dex ointment in his eyes. The little baby just seems to be really itchy. So he’s really pretty constantly licking himself, which seems to cause some infections on its own. He has skin issues and his hair tends to get matted, so I’ve gotten him a lot of haircuts under sedation. Overall, he’s just absolutely precious. I just can’t keep up with the medication and the ointment and the drops. He wants pretty frequent attention at this point. He wants to be petted and scratched more often than I am able to provide. He’s really beautiful and just so sweet.
