Maeve is a sassy girl with a permanent head tilt due to an ear infection she had before I adopted her. She loves to climb, play with the lids of water bottles and sleep in weird places. A curious kitty who will not shy away from new places and people, Maeve is the perfect companion for an active individual or family. She loves belly rubs, making biscuits, and nose boops. I am recently divorced and my current situation would have this feline socialite alone more than she’d like. We are looking for a forever home that will shower her with affection and keep her curiosity growing. She is a petite girl, weighing under 10 pounds and has a discerning appetite. You will fall in love with her quirky ways!

Fudge is a very handsome adult poly kitty. He likes other cats and even has a brother named Clark that he would like to be adopted with. Located in North Bethesda, Maryland Meet Spock, a handsome Maine Coon mix who came to the rescue as an owner surrender. Spock is a sweet, affectionate boy who forms strong bonds with his people. While he can still be a little cautious in new environments, he comes out of his shell and is much more comfortable with people now. Once he feels safe, he becomes a loyal companion who loves following his person around, soaking up pets, lap sitting and sleeping in bed with them at night. Spock is a vocal, social cat with a BIG personality—and one adorable quirk is that he wags his tail like a dog! He loves attention and being near his people and is a great communicator who isn't shy about letting you know what he wants. He especially loves chasing bouncy balls and will sometimes ask his person to throw one for him. He'll chase it down and bring it back to keep the game going—or, if he loses track of his favorite toy, he'll meow for help finding it! Brushing isn't his favorite, but he'll happily accept it with any liquid cat treat. He also isn't a fan of being picked up or having his nails trimmed. This playful boy does best with larger, confident male cats who can match his rough-and-tumble play style. He got along very well with an older male cat and also did great with dogs. However, he can be too intense for smaller or timid cats, especially female littermates, as he may chase, corner, or taunt them during play. Because of this, we recommend a home with either no other cats or only confident, assertive male cats who can handle his energetic personality. If you're looking for a fluffy, talkative companion with a big personality who has blossomed into a confident and affectionate cat, Spock may be your perfect match! Note: Spock has a history of improper litter usage. Paul will require an experienced owner who can verify they have dealt with a behavioral cat.  Please note your experience on the application under "Anything else you would like to share or ask?".  If you do not provide this information, we will not be able to process your application.  Hello handsome hunk Paul!  This big guy was born on 5/20/2023. He is currently 18 lbs. and is a Purebred Maine Coon (without papers). * 10/6/2026- Paul was adopted out 6 weeks ago and returned to rescue due to occasional improper urination on soft surfaces. (He sometimes uses the box and sometimes does not.) There is no guarantee this behavior can be controlled. Paul's most recent adopter reports he slept with them, loves attention, being held, brushed, and being a part of the household.    Paul was surrendered to rescue due to not urinating in the litter box.  While we won't go into details here, if you are seriously interested in him, more information can be provided during your application interview. While Paul has been in rescue, he has been using the box and no improper urination has occurred. We are recommended the least stressful environment for Paul, at this time.  No other cats, no dogs, and no small children.  It will also be in his best interest to be placed in a home with no plans for a move or major life change.   Paul does need some time to settle in.  Once he settles in, he enjoys all the attention you can give him.  This boy headbutts and rubs all over you.   His former owner said he enjoys being carried around in a sling bag and going out in a harness and leash.
