Story
Poppy is an affectionate cat who loves attention but is also independent. She likes sitting on your desk while on the computer and getting into the bed in the morning for some love. She has never been around children. She tolerates dogs and has only been with other cats when she was young. She does take some time to warm up to strangers. She will swipe at you when she is overstimulated, but she usually gives you a warning beforehand that she has had enough petting. She likes to talk to you but is not annoying. She would be best with a single person or a couple. She is an inside cat but would be in heaven with a screened porch as she loves watching bugs and birds.

Story
George was a neighborhood stray that has been hanging out on our porch for a few months. He showed up at my house injured so I took him to the vet to be treated and I have been housing him for a few weeks. He has been treated for fleas and ear mites. He was tested for feline leukemia, aids, and rabies and all came back negative. He has not received vaccines yet or been neutered. He is extremely affectionate and likes to lay in your lap. He has not gotten on the table or counters, thankfully. He has coexisted with my male cat and large dog well, though there have been moments of tension. He also has done well with my 4 year old and 1 year old but is a bit anxious of my 1 year old. I think he would do great as an only pet in a household with older children. But I think with time and patience he will be fine in most any environment. Getting him fixed would also likely help with some of his behaviors. I happy to go into more detail about how he s been with my pets and kids if needed.
