Meet Bella & Guinness <3 Some friendships are meant to last a lifetime, and Bella and Guinness are proof of that. Bella and Guinness have spent their lives together and are searching for a home where they can continue sharing sunny afternoons, cozy naps, and all the love they have to give. They have had dentals, senior bloodwork and Bella has been groomed! Bella does have one special consideration: she is diabetic. The good news is that she is beautifully regulated and does wonderfully with her care routine. She receives insulin twice daily and is an absolute superstar when it comes to glucose testing. Her care is much simpler and more affordable than many people expect, with her insulin costing approximately $20 every six weeks. She enjoys a primarily canned food diet with just a small measured amount of crunchies each day and is thriving. Whiskers is happy to provide hands-on training and ongoing support to ensure you feel comfortable and confident. We promise it's much easier than it sounds! To make life even easier, Bella and Guinness will come with a microchip-activated feeder so Guinness can continue enjoying his beloved crunchies while Bella stays on her carefully managed diet. We are looking for a loving new home for our sweet cat. She is spayed, about 5 years old, and has been part of our family for years. She loves her family, does well with gentle children, and has lived with both a dog and another cat. She’s shy around strangers at first but usually warms up once she gets to know you. She gets along fine with our other pets, but they don’t seem to enjoy her company. Lately, she seems stressed in our home and has started only using the litter box for poo when she is in her enclosure, she consistently pees in the box. We feel she would be happier in a calmer environment where she can feel comfortable and thrive. We believe she may just need a change of environment because she used to use her box perfectly. We love her very much and want to find her a safe, loving home.
