Story
Glorious elegance, quiet confidence, and just a touch of magic… this is Jareth, he is no Goblin King but somehow the name perfectly fits. See for yourself but do come back to read more! https://youtu.be/80G1F86eVm4 Jareth is estimated to be around 4 years old, weighs 15 lbs, and appears to be a Norwegian Forest Cat mix. As always with rescue, breed and age are our best guess, but his regal presence? That part is unmistakable. He has that composed energy that makes you feel like you are lucky to be in his company. You know you are sharing your home with a truly special being… but don’t worry, he doesn't expect the royal treatment- he is the kind of cat who doesn’t demand attention, but somehow always has it. He’s currently fostered in a loving home where he’s proven to be wonderfully easy company. Jareth is fully litter box trained (and refreshingly tidy about it), and his foster loves that he is a wonderful balance of independent and affectionate. His affection feels natural and he will meet you more than half-way when it comes to pets. In other words, your hand will be reaching and somehow he is already there. He’s not going to insist on constant snuggles or push into your space, but he is more than happy to lean in for pets and attention. His foster shared, “Wherever I sit, he comes and sits next to me.” It’s that steady, companionable kind of love that makes a house feel calm and complete. Jareth also has a playful side tucked beneath that royal exterior. Bring out a laser pointer and you’ll see it instantly… he’s engaged, curious, and ready to chase with enthusiasm. Like many cats, he’ll let you know if play gets a little too rough, but he communicates clearly and fairly. Give him that respect, and you’ll have a happy, balanced companion. If you’re looking for a cat who brings beauty, presence, and a quietly devoted kind of companionship… Jareth is ready to take his place at your side. Apply today and let this regal boy make his way into your world and your heart. Questions? Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This kitty you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties Rescue (3LP) wants to set you and your new family member up for success! In addition to a fully vetted furbaby you also receive other additional perks such as a code for a free bag of cat litter AND a code for 50% off a 2nd bag of litter from Catalyst Pet, coupons for a fun visit to Petco, and support through our Facebook Adopters group where you can connect with thousands of other adopters, 3LP volunteers, fosters and staff. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescues and will require continued efforts but are well on their way to being the best kitties that they can be! We ask that you give them time (can take weeks to months) to decompress in their new home, do slow introductions to other pets and let their true personalities have a chance to come through.  We celebrated our 8 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 16,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below!  https://www.facebook.com/ThreeLittlePittiesRescueSavingKitties/  https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue/  https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue/ *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $87 surcharge for transport. Story
We received Luna from a cat foster home around three years ago and were told that she was about ten at that time. Luna is a very sweet and chill cat, sporting a quite impressive and glorious beard! She is not very athletic, so she does not jump on counters or really get into things. Luna loves nothing better than napping on her couch bed, a couple of soft blankets with a small pet heating pad. She thoroughly enjoys pets and brushing, though she is not a lap cat. If someone will join her on the couch while they read a book or watch a movie, then she is happiest. She is a wonderful companion for someone who enjoys being home. She is used to being the only pet and in calm environments, so she likely would not do well with other animals or in a household where there are small children. Luna is up-to-date on her rabies vaccine (expires 5/27/2028), but she does need her FLV and FVRCP shots (Vet said not critical for her in her living situation).

Story
I named her Pounce because she was an explorer (Pounce de Lion) and leapt 3 feet high. She likes warmth and laps. She can be affectionate but on her terms. We have decided to travel more and we think it would be better to rehome than continually getting sitters. She has a sister but they do not like each other anymore so they don’t need to rehome together.
