Story
I picked up Evelyn at about 9 weeks old from some friends whose cats had just had a litter. Shortly after, I made sure to have her spayed and she got some shots, I believe. Now, 9 years later we moved in with my parents and she has hissed and growled at their cat to the point where he is unwilling to come inside. She loves my other cat’s company though, so it could be a bias against male cats. Looking for a home where she can be loved and respected - she doesn’t like being picked up, but does love relaxing on your lap, and otherwise follows you around closely. Simultaneously affectionate and skittish, and she is scared of thunderstorms and fireworks. She really enjoys hiding under sheets and blankets, and occasionally going outside. She has also had a lot of patience with our child, and will even let him pet her briefly, which is uncommon for cats around small children.
