Story
Pebbles is a lover at heart and she loves attention She would love someone who would let her sit on their lap all day long, she will follow you around everywhere and sleep with you happily. She's usually sleeping, or finding a rock on the floor to play with. She loves to lounge, and go outside in the catio and watch birds. An ideal home would be someone who doesn't have kids and no other pets, a catio would be nice but she's strictly indoor. She’s good with kids but I don’t think a home with them would be good. She gets fed with a slow dish. she's spayed and up to date on vaccines.

Story
Meet Miriam, an almost three-month-old Maine Coon/American Shorthaired kitten. Miriam has already overcome so much in her short life, and now this beautiful girl is finally ready to find her forever home. When Miriam came to us, she weighed less than a pound and was suffering from an upper respiratory infection that led to a serious eye problem. She spent time in a loving foster home where she could grow, gain strength, and get healthy. Once she was old enough, her non-functioning eye was removed to prevent it from continuing to cause her pain and problems. Miriam recovered beautifully and has adjusted remarkably well.We can’t promise that Miriam has Maine Coon in her ancestry, but with her beautiful looks and fluffy coat, we wouldn’t be surprised if there’s a little something interesting in her family tree!Miriam is a loving, outgoing, and social kitten. She has been in a home with other cats and large dogs and has done well with both. She has also spent time around young children, including children ages three and one. She does well with them, although when she is feeling playful, she can sometimes get a little rough if she is picked up. As with any kitten, she’ll benefit from gentle handling and supervision around very young children. When Miriam is ready to play, she can get a little mouthy, but she is easily redirected to an appropriate toy. She has a wonderful, affectionate personality and an impressively loud purr that lets you know just how happy she is.Because Miriam has had an eye removed, she will need to be indoor-only. She has adapted very well, especially considering that her affected eye had not been functioning properly for quite some time before surgery. She can occasionally have some difficulty with depth perception and may be startled when something approaches from her blind side, but she continues to navigate her world and enjoy life like the happy kitten she is.Miriam has worked incredibly hard to get where she is today. She is healthy, playful, affectionate, and ready for the next chapter. All she needs now is a family who will love her exactly as she is and give her the safe, happy forever home she deserves.Ready to adopt? Great news-our spayed/neutered pets are available to go home the same day! You can visit us in person, give us a call, or apply online-whatever works best for you. Your adoption fee includes: A lovable new companion, spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations + d
