Story
Meet Sunnie! Sunnie is an adorable young adult shih tzu with one eye. He's very "go with the flow" and would fit in anywhere where he got exercise and snuggles. We don't know what happened to Sunnie's missing eye, as he joined the rescue without it. Sunnie does great with other dogs, loves good food, and just hanging with his person. He's a very good boy. Sunnie is going through heartworm treatment. He is in no way contagious to other dogs, and his treatment is covered by the rescue at our vet. It is an easy treatment with such an easygoing dude, we expect it to go perfectly. Neuter, current vaccines, microchip, and heartworm treatment all included in his adoption fee. Story
*Please fill out the adoption form at the website at the bottom of this bio* Adorable Chata was rescued from a hoarder's house (see photo of her in the dirt). She was covered with mange and totally defeated. Chata has been in foster care for a few months where she is finally being treated as the princess she is! Chata is overall pretty mellow. She loves her belly rubbed and to go for walks, but prefers to spend her days hanging with her human. Chata does great with other dogs and coexists with free range chickens. We cannot stress how SWEET she is. As soon as she sees you she rolls over for belly rubs, and she's a "shadow dog" always following her foster mom around. Meal time is her favorite time, where she puts on her best dance moves and squeals. Other than that, she makes no noise, we've never heard her bark. She recently had to have her eye removed as it was ruptured, and she had a dental at the same time. She's been in the best mood ever since! She is also being treated for heartworm. Although she sounds like quite the mess, she is a "glass half full" girl and you'll forget all of her problems the moment you lay eyes on her. She is the best! Story
Little Snowball was found with her mom (Nestle the shih tzu) and her siblings. The police picked them up and held them while they looked for a rescue to take them. Snowball is very loving and enjoys being cuddled. Her favorite thing is playtime with her siblings. Nestle is very sweet and her babies followed suit. We are unsure of her mix, but we believe they look part pug. Snowball is available within an hour of Boise.
