Story
This is Remi, a sweet senior Maltese/Poodle mix, born appx June 2018.  The perfect home for Remi would be with a family who has no other pets unless it's a smaller dog.  She would do better in a quiet home with someone who can give her lots of love and attention.   Remi is usually calm, sometimes very lazy.  She is not very active and just needs a peaceful environment.  She would love to be one-on-one with someone, but has been in a home with teenagers.  She has also been known to be protective of her "person".  Remi is friendly with other dogs and gets along with kids. Remi will let you know when she has to go outside.  (Recently she's been a little scared of a larger dog in the home and had a few accidents from holding it too long.  We believe this issue should improve in a new environment and with a potty training refresher.)  Remi knows a few commands, when to go upstairs for bed, go outside, move rooms and time to eat.   Remi seems a little nervous in the car - she shakes during the ride and at the groomer.  Otherwise, she's not opposed to her regular check-ups and grooming. The suggested adoption donation for Remi is $350, which includes a lifetime of free relationship-based training for any behavioral problems (not obedience training).  Muddy Paws is a 501c3 non-profit organization meaning that part of your donation MAY be TAX DEDUCTIBLE.
