Wrapped in her tiny blue shirt and cradled with care, she’s learning that the world can be gentle. She’s soft as a cloud, curious as a hummingbird, and ready to find a forever home where she’ll be cherished like the treasure she is. Puppy kisses guaranteed. Gentle soul, perfect for cuddles. Loves flowers, sunshine, and being held. Available for adoption through Baja Dog Rescue Message us to meet her or learn more! vaccinations and is microchipped.. at our 45,000 square foot dog sanctuary and on-site hospital that helps over 1,500 dogs yearly. Three year old, 11 lb, Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu mix Pauly entered the county shelter as a stray. He was very reactive at the shelter, but calmed once he came into our care. While he likes people, Pauly can be shy/protective with new people, and doesn't like some men. He also doesn't like confinement. Pauly prefers to be with other dogs, especially small ones. He likes to play with soft toys. Pauly would be happiest with another dog in the home. He likes to deal with one person at a time, and is not appropriate for a home with children or people who are not experienced in handling dogs who may get moody. Holley is a very sweet, 5 year old, 20 lb Shih Tzu who was severely neglected and extremely overweight. She has lost several pounds and recently had surgery to remove bladder stones. Holley is feeling much better than when she arrived. Holley is on a special diet that she will need to continue to prevent a recurrence of the stones. Holley loves people.
