After all, the sweetest things in life are often the simplest. I'm a quiet, delicate soul who doesn't ask for much. I don't need grand adventures, endless entertainment, or a busy schedule. All I'm dreaming of is a soft bed, a peaceful home, and someone who will love me just the way I am. 🤍 I can be a little shy and nervous, especially when things feel unfamiliar. But underneath that timid exterior is an incredibly sweet, loving girl who just wants to feel safe. We take the dogs that are adopted down...so if a dog is on the website they are available. Some things are simply better together… and Violet & Fiona are definitely a package deal. These adorable Shih Tzu girls are best friends, playmates, cuddle buddies, and each other’s little security blankets. Violet is the social butterfly of the duo — cheerful, playful, and always ready for some fun. She loves squeaky toys, wrestling with Fiona, and getting attention from her people. She can be a little opinionated when meeting unfamiliar dogs on leash (apparently she has standards ), but with patience and proper introductions, she settles in nicely. Fiona is the smaller, softer soul. She’s a little more cautious at first and looks to Violet for confidence and reassurance. Give her a little time to feel safe, though, and out comes an incredibly sweet, affectionate little cuddlebug. She loves her people, loves her routines, and REALLY loves her Violet. These two spend their days playing, wrestling, snuggling, and simply enjoying life together. They’re well-mannered girls who thrive with consistency and routine. ‍♀️ One funny little quirk: these ladies prefer to handle their potty business while out on walks rather than simply heading into the yard. They clearly believe a bathroom break should include a proper outing. Fiona may also have occasional urinary accidents, so she’ll need a family willing to give her frequent potty opportunities and a little patience while she adjusts. What they’re looking for most is a home where they can stay together and be loved for exactly who they are. Hi, I’m Gir! 🐾💚 I’m a 6-year-old Chinese Crested/Maltese mix with a gentle little heart, a quiet personality, and a love for all things cozy! If you're looking for a peaceful companion who enjoys relaxing, taking naps, and living life at a slower pace, I might just be your perfect match! 🥹💚 Now, I have to admit something… I'm a little shy. The world can feel pretty overwhelming sometimes, and I'm still learning that everything is going to be okay. New situations can make me nervous, and I don't always know how to express myself when I'm feeling scared. But underneath my timid personality is a very sweet little boy who just needs someone willing to give him the time, patience, and understanding he deserves. 💚 I'm not the kind of dog who needs constant excitement, long adventures, or a busy schedule. In fact, my favorite activity in the whole world is probably something we can all appreciate… SLEEPING! 😴🐾 Seriously, give me a comfortable bed, a peaceful room, and a quiet afternoon, and I'm one happy little guy! My foster says I'm so calm and quiet that sometimes they completely forget I'm even there while they're working from home! 🤣 I don't bark much, I don't cause trouble, and I'm perfectly content spending my day relaxing in my favorite cozy spot. I'm also a very good eater! Mealtime is something I can always look forward to, and I have no problem enjoying my food. And guess what? I get along with other dogs, too! 🐶💚 Big dogs, small dogs… I'm comfortable around both! I'm a gentle, submissive boy who doesn't need to be the center of attention. I would be happy sharing a peaceful home with another friendly dog who respects my space. But here's something important about me… I'm still adjusting emotionally. My foster says I seem sad sometimes, and I need a little extra space to feel comfortable. I may not immediately run up to you asking for attention or want to be involved in everything happening around me. And that's okay. I just need someone who understands that trust takes time. Someone who won't rush me, overwhelm me, or expect me to become a completely different dog overnight. I have so much potential to become a wonderful companion, but I need to feel safe first. 🥹💚 I'm already crate trained and have good house manners! I'm not destructive, and I do well spending time quietly on my own. I'm also making progress with potty training, although I still need some additional practice and consistency. Leash training is another thing I'm working on, so my future family will need to be patient while I continue learning. The good news is that I have a very laid-back personality, and I don't require constant attention or entertainment. My foster believes I could do well with someone who works long hours, as long as my daily care and potty needs are met. I'm comfortable relaxing independently and don't mind having some quiet time to myself. My dream home would be with a small family of one to three people who enjoy a peaceful lifestyle. I'd especially love a home without young children, since sudden movements, loud noises, and lots of excitement can make me nervous. A home with adults or calm, respectful children over 10 would be the best fit for me. I don't need a huge house or a big backyard, either!
