Story
 Teddy is a sweet 13 year 9 months old Shih tzu that weighs 16 lbs. The poor boy had a owner for 10 years until she had to go into a nursing home then he moved to another apartment in the same building for 2 years until that new mom got sick and could no longer take care of him. We didn't know if he would be happy in a foster home because of all the dogs there but he fits right in and has been amazing. He has found his spot to sleep in his dog bed and seems to love the hectic household. It took him a couple weeks to want to jump up and sit in the lounge chair but that's his favorite place to be. Teddy has been recently diagnosed with small kidney stones so he has been put on a special dry dog food diet. The vet seems to think the new diet will clear up his stones. You would never know that Teddy is 13+. He gets the zoomies and just runs around the house. Teddy would love to have a final home where he can be loved on and treated like the special boy that he is. Story
Dolly Parton and her adopted brother Porter Wagoner were recently returned because of changes in their family situation. Dolly is probably around 3 years old, 6 pounds and a Maltese mix. She is just a lover, wanting to give kisses and cuddle up on your shoulder. She loves to sleep spooned beside you all night!! Her original situation wasn't very great and she walks with a curved spine, but that doesn't stop her (and frankly, at six pounds, she loves to be carried). It just adds a level of suspense when out for a walk as she always looks like she's ready to poop. She was spayed when she was with us before.
