Story
Meet Honey Bee: Your New Golden GirlHoney Bee is a tiny package of pure sweetness, weighing in at just 5 pounds and ready to fill your home with love. This dainty Shih Tzu mix is looking for a gentle retirement home where she can be the center of your world.Despite her petite size, Honey Bee is a resilient soul. She came to us after a period of transition and is now feeling like a brand-new woman after receiving some much-needed TLC from our veterinary team. She’s had a successful dental procedure and a small eyelid mass removed, and she is feeling much more comfortable!Honey Bee’s favorite place on earth is right next to you. If there is a lap available, she will find it. She is a loyal companion who just wants to share your space and your affection. She has a history of living peacefully with dogs, cats, and children. Because of her age and tiny stature, any resident pets should be calm and respectful `retirement buddies.`Honey Bee is looking for a quiet, soft place to land. Kids in the home should be old enough to understand that she is small and delicate. As a distinguished senior, Honey Bee has a few specialized needs to keep her buzzing happily:•Special Diet: Due to her recent dental work, she is strictly a soft-food-only girl for life.•Heart Health: She does have a heart murmur with some enlargement. While she’s doing great now, her future adopters should be prepared for regular veterinary check-ups to monitor her geriatric health and ensure she stays comfortable as she ages.Honey Bee has been through a lot of change recently, and she is more than ready to settle into a forever home that offers the devotion she so naturally gives to others. If you have a warm lap and a soft heart, Honey Bee might just be the perfect match.Honey Bee is spayed and has received core vaccinations (bordetella, canine distemper, rabies), flea + tick preventative, has been dewormed, and is microchipped. If you are interested in adopting Honey Bee, reach out to us at 920-733-1717 or adopt@foxvalleypets.org.

Story
Meet Tuco & Rainy: The Ultimate Senior SoulmatesIf you`re looking for double the love and a lifetime of loyalty, look no further. Rainy, a sweet 10-year-old Shih Tzu, and his best friend Tuco a distinguished 14-year-old Tibetan Spaniel are a bonded pair looking for a peaceful place to spend their golden years together.A Note from the Shelter: Because Tuco and Rainy are deeply bonded, they are a package deal. Adopting a senior pair is incredibly rewarding; they come with established manners and a built-in best friend!Home Life & CompatibilityDogs: While Rainy doesn`t seem to mind new dog friends, Tuco prefers to keep his social circle exclusive! He has made it clear that he isn`t looking for new canine coworkers, so they must be the only dogs in the home.Cats: These two have lived with cats previously and could likely settle in with new cat friends given a slow, respectful introduction!Environment: A quiet, low-traffic home is a must. These seniors are experts in the art of the midday nap and would prefer a household that appreciates a slower pace of life.Known Skills & PerksProfessional Loungers: They have mastered the `couch potato` lifestyle.Treat Enthusiasts: They may be seniors, but they still have a very youthful passion for snacks.Low Maintenance: No marathon runs needed here-just short strolls and lots of belly rubs.Rainy has a clean bill of health but, being a senior dog, it is important you have an established vet to provide care as he continues to age.Tuco & Rainy are both neutered, up-to-date on core vaccines, flea, tick, and heartworm prevention and are both microchipped! If you have a quiet corner of your heart (and your sofa) for these two sweethearts, please contact us at 920-733-1717 or email adopt@foxvalleypets.org to schedule a meet-and-greet.
