Sphynx kittens & cats in Greenwood Village, Colorado

Kai is a lovable boy that is in need of a home with no kids and no dogs. He takes a regular dose of “kitty prozac” but living in a home with two small kids and three big dogs is not ideal for Kai. We’ve had Kai for three years now and we’ve tried to make this a home for him and it doesn’t feel right knowing he’s stressed. He’s very affectionate to adults and older children. I adopted him from a lady who was his second home already so this is a hard choice for our family who love him so, we just want the perfect and last home for Kai.

Hi there, I&#39m Diamond Storm. I&#39m a Lilac Point Sphynx female with a soft grey nose and an even softer heart. I was born on 1/22/2015 and I&#39ve spent most of my life alongside my best friend, Disney Castle. We came from different breeders, but we&#39ve been together for years now, and we&#39re a bonded pair. That means wherever I go, he goes too, and trust me, you&#39ll want both of us around. Between the two of us, I&#39m the mellow one. I like to take things slow and easy. While Disney might get the zoomies with the laser toy, I&#39m more likely to watch from a cozy perch or offer a little chase just to stay in the game. What I really love are chin and cheek rubs. I&#39ll lean right in and hum a soft purr the moment you get it just right. When we first arrived at Wild Blue Cats, it was a big adjustment, but I settled in quickly and helped Disney feel safe. I&#39ve always been the steady one, the kind of companion who brings a calming presence wherever I go. Because we&#39re Sphynx cats, we do have some special needs: we need regular baths to keep our skin healthy and clean (we&#39re both champs about it), and routine nail trims too. We also need access to dry food at all times to help us keep our body temperatures regulated; our sleek, furless bodies don&#39t hold heat the same way other cats&#39 do. Another thing helping to keep us warm...blankets, sweaters, heating pads, your warm lap, you name it! We need comfy warm spots. Our previous person loved us very much, but life got busy and they couldn&#39t give us the attention and care we deserve. So now we&#39re looking for a new family that understands the unique needs of Sphynx cats and is ready to open their heart and home to both of us. We&#39d love an experienced or educated Sphynx adopter, and we think we&#39d do wonderfully in a family with kids who understand our special care. It took me a few days to settle in, but with Diamond Storm by my side and a little time to feel safe, I started to show everyone the real me. And the real me is all about love, attention, and playtime! I go crazy for the laser toy, but my absolute favorites are toy balls; I could chase those around for hours. I&#39ve also got a serious thing for treats, and I&#39m not shy about letting you know it. I&#39m outgoing, affectionate, and love to be close to my people.
