Meet Sampson!Sampson is a 5-year-old Saint Bernard mix weighing in at around 100 pounds of pure happiness.This big, goofy guy arrived with his six dog siblings after their owner suffered a stroke and could no longer care for them. While the dogs clearly loved one another, living with so many dogs in a small space occasionally led to some disagreements and left a few of them looking a little rough around the edges. Fortunately, Sampson seems to hold absolutely no grudges. In fact, we think he'd be perfectly happy sharing his future home with another dog and might even prefer the company!Sampson is the kind of dog who makes people smile without even trying. He greets life with a wagging tail, a happy grin, and an enthusiasm that's impossible not to love. He's generally a gentle giant, but let's be honest, when you're 100 pounds, even gentle can be a little clumsy. His ideal adopter will appreciate having a very large dog and be prepared for all the extra love and space that comes with him.To help Sampson live his healthiest life, he'd benefit from shedding a few pounds through a balanced diet and regular exercise. Meet Daphne! Daphne is a 10-month-old St. Bernard–poodle mix: big, fluffy, smart, and full of energy. She's spayed, fully vetted, and beautifully crate-trained. She loves puzzle toys, bully sticks, flirt-pole play, and long sniff walks, and responds well to positive training. She's a sensitive girl who's still learning to settle. She can be reactive and mouthy when overstimulated, but she's much calmer in quiet settings. She'd thrive as the only dog in an adult-only home with an experienced large-breed owner, lots of time, and ideally a yard. I love Daphne and want her to find a home where she can truly thrive.
