Hi I'm Eeyore!
Yes, like from Winnie the Pooh. No, I’m not sad, I’m just 130 pounds of love in a brindle-and-white cuddle suit.
Listen, I know I’m a big boy. Like... really big. But here’s the thing: I identify as a lap dog. 🐶I will sit on you. I will lean on you. Once I get to know you, I will lovingly invade your personal space like it’s my full-time job. (And I take my job very seriously.) 😉
I’m 2 years old, which in big-dog years means I’m basically a sweet, oversized toddler. I’ve got energy for walks and playtime, but I’m also 100% down to binge-watch TV 📺with you and pretend your legs are a La-Z-Boy made just for me.
Now, here’s the deal:
I need to be your one and only. 😍 No other pets, please. I’m not great at sharing the spotlight, the couch,🛋 or your affection. I want you, all to myself. Is that too much to ask from a 130-pound snuggle monster?
If you’ve got a big heart💜 (and maybe a reinforced couch), I’d love to meet you. I promise to be your giant shadow, your cuddle buddy, your loyal protector, and your emotionally dependent house hippo.

All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, receive a registered microchip, and are up-to-date on their age-appropriate shots, vaccines, and preventative care. We also test for heartworm when they are old enough.

We are volunteer based and taking care of injured, neglected pets is our priority, if you have not heard back from us within a week of applying, this pet had a best match application ahead of yours.
We will keep your application on file for 6 months in case you see another pet of interest.
If you do see another pet of interest, email us (when you fill out an adoption application you will receive an email contact) to tell us you would like your application applied to that pet.
