The legendary, the iconic , Meryl Streep is on her way back to boarding and sadly in need of a new foster home Her current foster raves and raves about Meryl and what a good, easy girl she is but life happens and has to take a break from fostering for a while. Meryl is dog and kid friendly, but no cats please! She has a special love for small dogs which is just the most adorable thing to witness. She is crate and house trained, so much so that she puts herself to bed in her crate every night She is great in the car and game for any adventure, she goes to weekly trivia with foster mom and has become a fav local patron! When we say that Meryl is so easy, we really and truly mean it. She gets the zooms with her doggy friends but is otherwise content to do her best potato reenactment on the couch or lounge in her bed. She is 6-7 years old and weighs in at 65-70 pounds, but she’s a gentle giant with that much more love to give. If you are interested in fostering we can promise that she’d be the perfect first timer dog, or if you think Meryl might be your forever kind of dog, don’t hesitate to reach out! Story
Duke has been my best-friend since the day I adopted him. This was a very hard decision I have to make to re-home him, still is, and probably will always stick with me. I have never re-homed a animal and never thought I’d be in the position where I had to. He is truly a sweet heart, he is the best cuddle buddy and loves his naps, and his peanut butter kongs. Duke is a rescue, and like all of us he definitely has his quirks. Currently I cannot provide what he needs anymore, I am hoping to find an adopter who can love him as much as I do, while being able to provide him what he needs.My requirements for an adopter would be listed below - 1. Love and care for him endlessly2. Keep my contact information handy, as if you decide he is not the right fit for you - I will take him back and try again. Updates every now and then. I recommend an experienced adopter for Duke. I will send the adopter home with a 40 pound bag of dog food, toys, crate and flea, tick, HW meds.
