I love to run around in the yard, chase toys, and play with my friends. After Ive had my fun, Im just as happy to curl up right next to you (because being your shadow is kind of my specialty).Im actually really easy to walkI enjoy strolling along by your side and taking in all the smells. But dont let my polite leash skills fool youI also LOVE to zoom and romp when I get the chance! Give me some room to stretch my legs, and youll see just how much fun I can have.A little about me: Car rides? Yes, please! Windows down, ears floppingthats my jam. Vacuums? Umm hard pass, thank you very much. Ive lived with dogs, cats, and kidsIm a friendly guy who just wants to be included. This handsome boy was picked up running at large and based on Facebook posts it was about his third or fourth offense, but no one claimed him. We are guessing that he was a failure at being a livestock guardian because he’s way too social. He’s always wanting to visit someone new. Charlie is a little over a year old and weighs 110 lbs. He was very thin when he first came to us but is now at his perfect weight. He is neutered, up-to-date on required vaccines, microchipped and heartworm tested negative. He’s house trained and he loves other dogs, but he is a big guy. He also will require a tall fence and you will have to keep an eye on him because again he likes to visit new people. He’s affectionate and likes to lean on you. He is learning commands like sit and stay and he really tries to please! This is what his foster mom says about him " Charlie is amazing. He is housebroken, loves to be hugged, hasn’t chewed anything up, likes to play but is content just to chill. He walks beautifully on a leash and likes to say hi to everyone he meets. Charlie enjoys sitting and looking out the window, hanging around in the kitchen especially when I’m cooking and going for car rides. Although this breed is known for having a stubborn streak, Charlie seems to understand a few commands wait, it’s ok, no, come, let’s go and he will even sit for a treat. But his favorite is Good Boy Charlie❤️" This guy would be a great dog for an active loving family. He’s so sweet!
