Bauer is a St. Berdoodle, a loving, gentle giant. He was purchased in 2023 from a breeder in South Carolina. He is a loving, happy boy that loves to show affection and go for walks and just hang out with his people. He is house trained and very good with kids. His size, at a lean 96lbs can be intimidating but he would rather love on you...Our family dynamic has changed, as much as it breaks my heart I can no longer provide him with the life he deserves.

Story
Jasper is a Portagese Water Dog and a July 4th birthday doggie, he's six years old and gets along with other dogs and kids. He is a amazing guard dog and is used to older people. He is very protective of his home and his people. He lives with two small dogs and is losing his home at no fault of his own. His owner is moving from MI to FL to be with her autistic grandson who doesn't understand boundaries and personal space. While Jasper is good with people he knows well, he is protective of the other dogs in his family and with this grandchild he will not understand he's autistic. Many dogs with autistic family members often do not understand the clues since autistic people don't understand social cues. Some dogs gravitate to them, other dogs are confused by the connection that is missing. Jasper is one of those dogs. He will not understand when he's grabs and pinched which is what this grand child does. We need to find Jasper a new, quiet home. A home where he can be the best of who his is. A protector of the home and his people. We are looking for a home with a fenced yard and a active person who can walk him and he can again live the life he's come to love. He loves to play, fetch and take long relaxing walks and play with other dogs. He is fixed, up to date on shots and is in desperate need of the love he's about to lose in losing his home. I got Lila when she was 3 months old, she is now 1 year and 4 months old. She is a very loving doggo who loves playing. She is a chewer so she needs lots of things to chew on. Her all time favorite though are plush toys that she can pull the stuffing out of. She was well trained at one point but just needs some TLC to get back up to snuff. She is apprehensive around dogs but ultimately wants to play once comfortable. I am looking for a better home for her. Going through a divorce and i feel really bad leaving her home with nobody for half a day while I'm at work. Ideally she would have someone around most of the time, she has got a bit of separation anxiety. Which is probably because my work schedule so she may out grow it with proper routine. Shes a great dog and has so much potential.

Meet Mr. Bruce!Mr. Bruce is a super large, super handsome Great Dane/St. Bernard mix that was recently surrendered into our care through no fault of his own. Bruce is still settling in here at FDHS, but aside from his stature, he’s already making a BIG impression and has quickly become a staff favorite. We were told that Bruce previously lived as a family dog and has done well with children and other animals. Although he’s typically very friendly and docile with everyone he meets, Bruce can be a little uneasy around new men. Bruce is generally very well-mannered. He walks nicely on leash, keeps a clean kennel, and doesn’t get too bothered by his more "enthusiastic" canine neighbors. This big hunk of handsome would likely do well in just about any type of home environment. Oh. Almost forgot. One important little detail about Bruce…he’s an escape artist. This guy can hop fences and bust through doors like the Kool-Aid Man, so he’ll need a home that can safely supervise his outdoor adventures. Bruce is really a good boy and we know his perfect match is out there!**Neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and up-to-date on vaccines & monthly prevention**

Happy Holly! Like big dogs? Holly is your girl! She is a curious and playful young dog (DOB 7/2024) that is searching for a family with a laid back lifestyle. She is an eager learner and very treat motivated. She is living in a foster home with older dogs but would also be fine as an only dog. She is house trained and crate trained, and knows her basic good manners. She is spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Her adoption fee is only $75 dollars. We adopt within 45 minutes of LCPC as we complete home visits prior to adoption. We require fully fenced yards for all of our puppies and most of our adult dogs.
