Story
*Meet Molly* Molly is a beautiful 6-year-old German Shepherd–St. Bernard mix with a big heart and a loyal spirit. Calm and gentle at home, she loves spending her days relaxing nearby or quietly following you from room to room. But once she’s outside, her playful and adventurous side shines through — she loves to run, explore, and take in all the sights and smells around her. Molly is deeply devoted and protective of her people — the kind of companion who will always have your back. She would thrive as the only pet in the home, as she doesn’t get along with other dogs and can be wary of strangers. Molly had a tough start to life. She was sold far too early, at only four weeks old, and likely came from a stressful environment. Because she didn’t have the proper time with her mother, she missed out on learning some early dog-to-dog social cues. Despite that, she’s incredibly intelligent and full of love — she just needs patience, understanding, and a calm, stable environment. Loud noises and too much excitement can make Molly anxious, so a peaceful home without children or other pets is best. She can be a little uncertain at first and may seem ready for pets before changing her mind — a bit like a cat! With time and trust, though, she forms deep bonds with her people and shows her true, affectionate self. She can snap when she feels afraid or threatened so a calm and understanding family is a must. Molly is also leash-reactive, so a fully fenced yard would be ideal to give her space to run and burn off energy safely. She absolutely loves adventures up north, exploring the woods, and breathing in the fresh air. She’s been loved and well cared for her whole life, but she’s ready for a new chapter — one with an experienced adopter who understands sensitive, loyal dogs like her. If you’re looking for a devoted companion who will love you unconditionally and appreciate the calm moments by your side, Molly might just be the perfect match. Molly is vaccinated, microchipped, has his flea, tick & heartworm prevention, is sterilized and will come with her medical booklet. Sometimes a dog takes a little more time to open up, you may see them showing more and more of their personality over the course of the first few days, weeks or even months! We don’t know all that they’ve been through before they were rescued, but they are so forgiving and full of love and it’s worth every tough moment in the end. Developing a trusting relationship with your rescue dog is the most important thing. Stability, patience, positive reinforcement and love are the most important things!

Story
Scotti is a beautiful mix of Saint Bernard, Bernese Mountain Dog and Labrador, and she has a personality just as big as her paws! She is an energetic, playful, affectionate girl who has an incredible amount of love to give. She is equally happy running around and playing as she is curling up on the couch for a lazy afternoon. She really is a little bit of everything! She is wonderful with young children, cats and other dogs. She absolutely adores men and has a special enthusiasm for making friends with them. She is also extremely food motivated, which makes her a great candidate for continued training. She already knows sit, down and off. Scotti is a very social girl who wants to be involved in absolutely everything. Personal space isn't exactly something she understands yet! She gets excited when people come through the door and can jump up or accidentally bump into little ones with her enthusiasm. She is not always aware of just how big she is! She also has some room to grow when it comes to house training. She generally sleeps through the night without needing to go outside and does fairly well in her crate during the day, but she is not yet fully house-trained and still has occasional accidents indoors. She will need a family willing to be patient, consistent and committed to helping her get there. When it comes to cats, she sometimes gets excited and wants to chase them to play, but there is no meanness behind it. She does respond to a verbal command to stop, and continued guidance and supervision are important. More than anything, Scotti needs a family who will love her for who she is: a big, enthusiastic, affectionate goofball with a heart full of love. Someone who understands large breeds, has the patience to work through the little things and can give her the attention, exercise, structure and affection she deserves. This is not a decision being made lightly by her previous family. We aren't simply looking for someone to take Scotti. We are looking for her people. A family who will welcome her into their lives, give her room to grow, and make her a permanent part of their family. Scotti has so much love to give. We just want to make sure she finds the right place to land. Scotti a tellement d'amour à donner.
