He has previously lived successfully with another dog his size and has done well with older, respectful children. Turbo is accustomed to a rural lifestyle with plenty of property to roam, and he thrives in open spaces where he can explore and stretch his legs. He would pair best with a large, social female dog who can match his energy and confidence. Because of his size and activity needs, Turbo is not suited for apartment living, but in the right home with XL-breed experience, he will be a devoted and joyful companion.

Meet Austin! This Anatolian shepherd mix is still in training and will only be placed with a home that understands the breed and will work with Austin to keep up the progress he is making. Austin, like many rescue dogs, had a rough start to life. He is very shy around new people and takes a while to warm up to them. He was born in June 2020, so he is still fairly young and would benefit from ongoing training and human companionship. In his time at WAG, he has spent time with a similarly sized female dog, so he might do well with a canine companion. Gorgeous blond boy Buck! Born in October 2019, he spent much of his young life without much human interaction. He has really blossomed with us, learning to trust humans, how to walk on a leash and that play is really fun! Buck would do well in a home with a securely fenced yard and with humans who are home most of the time. Young children might overwhelm him, older kids he’d do well with. Buck likes to go for walks and spend quality time with humans, he is an affectionate boy.
