Meet Your Potential New Best Friend! This pet is participating in the Central California SPCA Rehoming Program and is currently living with its owner not at the Central California SPCA.If you think this pet could be a great fit for your family, please review the pet`s profile carefully and contact the owner directly to ask questions or arrange a meet-and-greet.Owner Contact InformationPhone: 559-776-5618Email: shauna.mills87@gmail.comOwner Information about the pet : We took this sweet boy back from a family we had homed him with previously. They recently had a baby, and unfortunately, he and their other dog weren’t getting along the way they had hoped. With all the changes and stress that comes with a new baby, they made the difficult decision to give him back so we could find him a better fit.Since we’ve had him back, he somewhat gets along with my daughter’s dog, but honestly, I feel like he would really thrive as an only dog. He loves his people, loves his toys, and especially loves his ball. ?? He is very sweet with people and would do best with an older child or kids who understand how to treat animals and give them space when needed. He has some manners and basic training, but he could definitely benefit from someone who has the time and patience to continue working with him. He’s a good boy and has so much love to give. I think with the right person and a little consistency, he could really thrive.Unfortunately, I’ve had some unexpected and unfortunate things happen in my own life, and I’m no longer able to give him the time and attention he deserves. I’ve found that he’s spending more time in his crate than I’m comfortable with, and I hate knowing that I’m not able to give him the life he deserves right now. This is not an easy decision for me, but I know finding him the right home is the best thing I can do for him.I’m really hoping to find someone who will love him, be patient with him, play ball with him, and give him the time and attention he needs. I just want him to have a happy home where he can truly be part of the family. This picture was taken earlier this yearAnd for the last question, no he has not bitten anyone.Thank you for considering adoption and helping a pet find a loving new home!

Meet Shadowfax: The Lord of All Dogs! Looking for a companion to ride into adventure with—or just to the neighborhood park? Meet Shadowfax, a 4-year-old gentleman who is ready to be the loyal mount for your own epic journey. While he may not be a legendary Mearas from the plains of Rohan, Shadowfax is truly the “Lord of All Dogs.” He’s a well-mannered, 60-pound bundle of joy with a heart of gold, a wag that could rival the strength of the White Rider, and a spirit that is ready to embrace life by your side. Why You’ll Choose Shadowfax: • The Best of Both Worlds: At 4 years old, Shadowfax has the wisdom of a seasoned traveler but retains the heart of a puppy! His foster mom is constantly delighted by his sudden bursts of youthful playfulness—he knows exactly when to be a calm, sophisticated housemate and when it’s time for a good, silly romp. • A Master of the Household: Shadowfax is a dream housemate. He is fully house-trained, crate-trained, and a pro at using the doggy door, so you can rest easy knowing he has mastered the ways of the modern Shire. • A Socialite of Middle-earth: Whether he’s meeting a tiny hobbit-sized pup or a larger-than-life hound, Shadowfax loves them all! He’s a social butterfly who gets along famously with dogs of every shape and size. • A Trailblazer: He is an absolute delight on the leash, can pull a bit when excited but is well on his way of mastering the leash.  Whether you’re embarking on an epic mountain hike or a quick stroll around the block, he walks with grace and poise, making every outing a pleasure. • Still His Silly Self: Shadowfax has recently been diagnosed with epilepsy and is now on medication to help manage his condition. While this is something his forever family will need to be aware of and continue managing with veterinary care, it certainly hasn't changed the dog everyone loves. Shadowfax is still his goofy, playful, loving self—and he doesn't let anything stop him from enjoying life and sharing his silly spirit with the people around him. Shadowfax has spent his time waiting for his perfect human—the one who will be his partner in all things. If you are ready to welcome a noble, brave, and incredibly well-behaved friend into your fellowship, your quest ends here. Are you ready to show Shadowfax the world beyond his kennel? Come meet him today and start your own legendary story together! www.labrescuefresno.org If you are interested in adopting through Labrador Retriever Rescue of Fresno, you must first fill out an Adoption Application located at our website www.LabRescueFresno.org All dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccines including rabies; flea/tick topical drops, heartworm tested and microchipped.
