Loula is a 5 year old, Great Pyrenees mix (we believe she is a Pyradoodle!) at only 50ish lbs who is being surrendered to GRRAND as her family tells us: "We are relocating to a larger city where we will not have the outdoor space or time to care for her properly. She currently has a large yard to play in, and she will not have that when they move." She should go to a home with no small children as her current home has them and we are told: " While we do have children, she likes to herd/follow small children and it does cause her to be stressed and not settle down when multiple kids are running around, and she does not like it when they are around while she is eating."  Loula is crate-trained and sleeps in it at night and needs plenty of activity to keep her busy. She will need a home with a fenced in yard so she can hang out and play. Our GRRAND volunteer who hangs with Loula in the GRRAND play yard tells us: "We were back in our field today with Miss Loula, who has recently had a second grooming and is looking even more beautiful. Loula is a Goldendoodle mix and she is great fun. She has a great sense of humor and likes to run like a gazelle while having a ball thrown for her, but she also loves to sit and be petted. She knows basic commands, including recall upon hearing her name. This girl needs to put some weight on her bones, but she is looking better everyday. It's always a great time with Loula!" Story
Gus is a 7 year old, male Sheepadoodle at about 50lbs. And what a cutie he is! Gus is being re-homed as he needs more time, training and attention than his family can give to him. He needs to go to a home with no kids under the age of 16 as he has some mild resource guarding issues which is more pronounced with little kids, as he doesn't understand space nor cares to run kids over when playing. His new family needs to be committed to give him the exercise (he is still very active for a 7 year old) and direction he needs to be a good boy. Gus is house-trained and crate-trained, but he no longer uses the crate and has full run of the house when left alone. Gus is a delightful dog as he is very friendly, knows some basic commands, and is just an active, and healthy boy looking for lots of love and attention. As you can tell, he is a very handsome medium-sized dog who runs in the yard to play, but likes to spend time on the couch indoors too as he likes to cuddle. Gus walks well on leash, and is no fan of car rides, but does tolerate them.
