Congratulations — the universe has delivered one to you through a little chaos and a very good Samaritan. Duke was found running as a stray and rescued by a kind Good Samaritan just in time. He was extremely overgrown — so fluffy he looked less like a dog and more like a sheep who missed several grooming appointments. Things were not safe for him out there (someone even threatened to shoot him 😞), but Duke is now safe and officially entering his glow-up era. Despite his rough start and current “before” look, Duke is a certified good boy. He was calm, patient, and polite during grooming — no drama, no complaints, just good vibes. He’s under 5 years old, about 50 pounds, and has that classic poodle intelligence paired with a surprisingly chill personality. Duke is great with all people, shows no negative reactions to other dogs, and handles new situations like a pro. He will be neutered and fully vaccinated prior to placement. His curls may be a little ruff right now, but trust us — the glow-up is coming. If you’re ready for a smart, friendly, purebred Standard Poodle who is about to turn into an absolute showstopper, Duke is your guy.
