Meet Calvin! (His foster lovingly calls him Reginald — Reggie, or Reg!) Calvin came in with his siblings from a backyard breeder and he didn’t get much exposure to the world early on. He is the SHYEST of the group, and he is still scared of most new things. Fast movements make him flinch, and he needs slow introductions and a calm home. BUT when he thinks no one is watching...he plays! He chases his brother around the yard, enjoys chew bones, and loves being close to “his people.” Because he is still learning how to “be a dog,” Reggie would really benefit from having another confident dog in the home to learn from. He watches his brother constantly and follows his lead. House training is still in progress, we rarely catch him going potty outside, but he IS trying. When his foster took him “for a walk,” he wore a leash… while being carried the whole time. A doggy stroller would honestly be amazing for him until he understands that walking on a leash is safe. He is SO sweet. He loves cuddling in a blanket right next to you and getting gentle chin rubs. Reggie will thrive with patient humans who understand he didn’t get the same start as a typical puppy. With calm guidance, another dog to model after, and slow introductions, he’s going to blossom. He has so much love inside of him just waiting to pour into the right family — and it will absolutely be worth the time. Reggie's adoption fee is $250 with a $100 neuter deposit
