Story
How cute can one dog be? We say as cute as Billy Ray, our 4-year-old, 10 pound mix of Schnauzer and Wire Hair Terrier. He’s not only cute, though. He’s also playful, energetic, and outgoing. He gets along well with other dogs, but he does not like cats. Because he is so small, we prefer that he not go to a family with children under 10 who don’t always know their own strength when playing hard. This boy is a true delight! (posted 3/29/26, ME) Adoption Fee: $395.00-- covers microchip, worming, all vaccines, monthly heart worm preventative, monthly tick/flea preventative, spaying/neutering, health certificate, and complete medical records. Transport Fee: $160.00-- We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. **May 19, 2026, 3:36 pm

Story
Little Man is a sweetie pie of a 2-year-old Schnauzer mix with a loving personality. He presently weighs 58 pounds. He was originally adopted from us, but unfortunately his owner died and Little Man came back. He’s a lovely boy who simply wants to cuddle and be cuddled. He loves to run around and play, and he gets along well with his canine pals. He might be a bit shy at first, but he quickly warms up. How about giving him his true forever home? Story
🐾 42 lbs of pure sweetness and just the right amount of clingy (the good kind). 💛 Shelby is about 2 years old and we’re guessing some kind of Schnauzer/terrier mix—but what she definitely is… is an absolute love bug. If you’ve ever wanted a living, breathing teddy bear that follows you around, congratulations—here she is. She loves: ✨ Allllll the people 🦴 Benebones, Kongs, and anything snack-related 🎾 Playtime (with just the right off switch) She’s good with: ✔️ People (seriously, all of them) ✔️ Other dogs ✔️ Public outings She’s still working on: Containing her excitement… because sometimes love = little jumps Being okay when you’re doing something without her (rude, honestly) Shelby is the kind of dog that just gets it. Mid-to-low energy, happy with a good walk, and then ready to be your shadow the rest of the day. She’s smart, eager to learn, and already picking up routines like a pro. The basics: Crate trained (and getting better every day—she’ll even go in on her own) Potty trained (no accidents 🙌) Leash trained (sticks close unless something loud says otherwise) Car rides: a little nervous but improving quickly Her vibe: Soft, affectionate, easygoing… the kind of dog that just melts into you. She wants to be as close as physically possible at all times, and honestly, you won’t mind. Perfect home: Someone who wants a best friend. An active-ish home that will include her in life, love on her endlessly, and help her keep building confidence. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, slightly velcro companion… Shelby is your girl. 💕 Adoption Info: All of our animals are fully vetted, which includes spay/ neuter, up to date on vaccines, wormed, heartworm tested and treated if necessary, up to date on flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and microchipped prior to adoption. Our requirements are non-negotiable and include the following: All current pets in the home must be spayed or neutered if over 6 months of age, unless there is a documented medical exemption with veterinary confirmation. All current dogs must be up to date on Rabies and Distemper/Parvo (DHPP) vaccinations. All current dogs must be on consistent, consecutive heartworm prevention. Past dogs listed on the application must also show a consecutive history of heartworm prevention. To start the adoption process, please fill out our application here: - https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/WAG/Dog Please also take a moment to read our requirements located in the application. Please note: The dog you're applying for might already have a meet-and-greet scheduled, be on a trial with another family, or has been offered to another rescue within our network Don't worry though - we're always happy to help you find another great match if that happens! Our goal is to make sure every pup ends up in the best home for their needs (and yours too!).

Story
Sydney is an absolutely adorable puppy. And yes—she's already potty trained (we know, it’s a dream come true). What really sets her apart? Her gentle, affectionate nature. She's the kind of pup who just want to be someone's companion or to have the title of "the family dog". She has a lot of love to give. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a soft heart and a scruffy little face this pup is perfect for you. This sweet, wire-haired baby is up to date on shots, fixed, heartworm negative, are ready going to her new home. Adoption fee of $150. We can transport within driving distance (over 3 hours may be an additional fee for transport)
