Story
Please read the pet description IN IT'S ENTIRETY before applying.  Thank you for your cooperation. NOT YET TAKING APPLICATIONS – NOT YET AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION NEW INTAKE 12/28/2025:  Dustbunny - female - 5 years old - 15.0 pounds - Schnauzer mix Reason for intake:  Dustbunny came to us when her mommy had to go into a memory care facility due to dementia.  Dementia is such a horrible disease, and we send our thoughts and prayers to the family.  Rest assured, this sweet girl will be in good hands.  She is already spayed but needs a few things done at the vet, including a dental.  We'll post everything about her when we post her for adoption.  Stay tuned. NOT TAKING APPLICATIONS:  Many dogs, particularly breeder, hoarder or senior dogs, can have multiple medical issues that need addressed.  Additionally, sometimes we take in young puppies requiring multiple vaccinations and/or quarantining.   In this particular case, we are not yet taking applications either due to age or possible illness or some other reason.  We will post when s(he) is ready for adoption.  In the interest of fairness, EARLY application submissions will NOT be considered.  Please note…  we cannot respond to messages/emails, etc., on dogs that are NOT yet available for adoption.  Please wait until the dog is available for adoption.  We will post him or her on Facebook in our Adoptable Dog Album pinned to the top of our page which you can follow at this link:  https://www.facebook.com/share/1B46skRWF5/ OR you can keep checking our website at www.roadtorescuela.org.  We appreciate your cooperation and understanding. “The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.”  ~ Gandhi Be responsible ~  Always spay/neuter, keep your dogs on heartworm prevention, vaccinate against disease... and if you bring a pet into your life, commit to that pet for life.  Blessings.
