Story
Meet Jesse! He was rescued well over a year ago. His foster has been working with him to be his best self and he is finally ready! He was so shut down and scared due to a life of abuse and neglect. Thanks to his amazing foster, he has come out of his shell and learned to love again! He loves people and being held. He does not love stairs! They are still very scary for him. He is around 5-6 years old. If you can open your home and heart to sweet Jesse, please fill out an application! https://www.jotform.us/form/43196636952162Thank you for your interest in adopting a pet from Guardians of the Green Mile Inc. We are a group of individuals that have come together to save the lives of animals that are in danger of being euthanized. We raise funds to fully vet the animals and to provide them with a stable home until they are adopted. All of the dogs in our Rescue are in Foster homes while they are looking for their forever family. The only time we put a dog in boarding is for a Foster to go on vacation if another Foster is not able to care for them. We appreciate your taking the time to fill out the application to adopt one of our Guardians of the Green Mile pets. The questions that we ask are to only find the right fit for all of our dogs and the families that will be adopting them. Adoption donation is $300.00 for dogs over 1 year old and $350 with a $50.00 spay / neuter deposit for puppies/dogs under 1 year old.
