Story
Meet Levi! Levi gets along with dogs and cats, but can be bitey towards new people. He's had nothing but change for so many years. This sweet boy was transferred to us from another rescue but has been with his foster since 5/20/2019. He was originally dumped because he was reported to have bitten a child, however we don't know any of the circumstances or details. Levi needs a very special adopter but is so deserving of finding his Furever home.June 10, 2023, 5:16 am

Story
Meet JingleBella! This beautiful 12 year young lady was taken the vet to be euthanized because her eye sight is going and the kids in the home were scaring her. The said no and asked if we were able to help. We couldn't let her time be cut short because she was getting older. Her foster says: 'She's super sweet, walks well on a leash, gets along with my dog and cats. She loves to be close to her people and follows me everywhere. She's ready for her Furever home!June 10, 2023, 5:16 am

Story
Do you want a dog that instantly loves and trusts you. A dog that meets everyone that visits with a wagging tail and kisses. A dog you can take on car rides and to breweries and have everyone who sees him swoon over him because he is so cute and out going? Well BEASLEY is not the dog for you. BEASLEY came from a hoarding case and was neutered way too young so never had the effects and confidence bestowed by testosterone and has always felt like low man on the totem pole. Imagine trying to not draw attention to yourself in a pack of 20+ dogs. Imagine not knowing what it is like to be a normal house pet who gets attention and affection from his human. Imagine just trying to survive a very tenuous life. Everything was brand new upon coming into care with Beauties: collars, leashes, car rides, kennels, soft beds, regular meals, human touch, visitors, etc. I often wonder if he even had a name. BEASLEY has come a long way since coming into care with the help of 3 foster homes. Each has taught him different aspects of life as a loved pet. He learns a household's routine very quickly, but he does not trust easily. His 3-3-3 rule (3 days to decompress, 3 weeks to learn the routine and 3 months to understand they are home) is more like 9-3-9. He needs a patient soul who is willing to give him all the time he needs and to understand he will likely never be the cuddley lap dog. He did warm up to each of his foster Mom's on his terms and he deserves the very best in his person: a calm soul, a gentle voice, a delicate hand, and the patience of Jobe. The person who adopts BEASLEY will adopt him because they are selfless and have a heart of giving. Is that you? His foster Mommas love him to the moon and back and will make sure he has a home that will continue his journey to being the amazing dog we know he can be in a calm, patient and loving way. BEASLEY needs a home with a secure fence and no children. He will need another dog in the home to help him build trust and confidence.
