Story
UPDATE!!&#226&#156&#168 Sweet Greta got a good groom yesterday and is looking and feeling fabulous. This sweet girl is still up for adoption but will need a patient home. Greta is a totally sweetheart but is timid in new situations and with new people. She will need a patient adopter that will give her time to adjust and settle in. We promise she’s worth it for sure. Greta was originally found as a stray and we have no idea how long she was out on her own. We do feel she likely was a dump from a backyard breeder when she was no longer of use to them. She is 6-8 years old and 8.5 lbs. We believe she is a Schnorkie! A calmer older house hold would be best. She is great with other animals but would need a home with older or no kids. She does well in the house and is an all around good girl once settled and comfortable. She is utd, hw tested, spayed and ready for her happily ever after!  Our adoptions are NOT on a first come first serve basis and there is no fee to apply! We never state any animal is fully House-trained. New environments, situations, families, routines, ect. can lead to accidents even with the most well trained animals.  All dogs have a $175 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter! Puppies/Dogs that are not available for adoption due to vetting not being complete can be reserved with an approved application and a non refundable $50 deposit. Deposits can ONLY be submitted once the rescue has been in contact on your approval and it has been requested through Wags and Whiskers. This deposit is applied to your adoption fee and the remaining $125 is due at pick up. Wags and Whiskers is an all-volunteer rescue. Please allow us time to respond to all inquires and applications! Thank you!
