Story
Parche is a 6-month-old medium-size Terrier mix puppy who currently weighs 27 pounds (as of January 15) and is expected to weigh approximately 35–40 pounds as an adult. He is friendly, playful, affectionate, and incredibly social. Parche loves meeting new people and dogs, enjoys giving kisses, and thrives on attention and companionship. Like many playful puppies his age, he may occasionally jump up to greet people when excited, but he learns quickly and responds well to guidance. Since his rescue he has been learning what it means to be loved and cared for, and he has blossomed into a happy, confident young dog. He loves food and is very food-motivated, which makes him excellent for training. He has no food guarding and politely waits his turn for treats. He is a smart puppy who learns quickly and enjoys training. Parche is potty trained and waits to go outside to do his business. He is comfortable sleeping in a crate and settles well after a short adjustment period. He walks on leash, although continuing his leash routine and confidence with pottying on walks will be important, especially if he lives in an apartment, as this is still a newer skill for him. He currently lives in a foster home with several other dogs who keep him company and he loves playing with other dogs! He would do especially well in a home with another dog to play with and share companionship. He also does very well with children and teenagers and would be an excellent match for a family with kids who enjoy playing and being active. He has not been tested with cats; however, due to his friendly and playful nature, we believe he could do well with proper introductions and supervision. He travels very well in the car and does not experience car sickness. He is not excessively vocal and has a stable, loving temperament. He adjusts well to new environments and forms strong bonds with his people. Because he is an active and playful puppy, his ideal home will be one that can provide regular exercise, continued training, and engagement. Parche will arrive in Albion, NY in mid March and we would love to have a family waiting for him! * Please note: All dogs are rescues so we often do not know the actual breeds but use an educated guess to tell you what they most look like. Our adoption fee is $400 and unless otherwise stated all dogs and puppies have been spayed/neutered, microchipped, 4DX tested(if age appropriate), Put on heartworm/flea/tick prevention, age appropriately vaccinated, dewormed, vet checked and flown from Puerto Rico. Story
Meet Cannoli 💕 Cannoli is a beautiful 4½-year-old Standard Schnauzer with a calm spirit and an incredibly gentle heart. She is the kind of dog who forms deep bonds with her people and is happiest when she’s close by — leaning against you, resting her head on your lap, or quietly soaking up affection. If you’re looking for a true cuddle companion, Cannoli will happily fill that role. She has a steady, level-headed personality and an easygoing nature that makes her a joy to live with. Not hyper or demanding, Cannoli prefers a peaceful environment where she can relax, observe, and be part of the family. She enjoys the company of another calm, friendly dog and would do wonderfully with a canine companion who matches her gentle energy. Outdoors, Cannoli comes alive. She loves fresh air, exploring, and would make an excellent hiking or walking partner — happy to trot along by your side and take in the world at a comfortable pace. After playtime outside, she’s perfectly content to settle in and unwind with her favorite humans. Cannoli would thrive in a loving home that appreciates a sweet, affectionate dog with a balanced temperament — someone who wants both a quiet snuggle buddy and a loyal adventure partner. Our adoption fee is $400 and unless otherwise stated all dogs and puppies have been spayed/neutered, microchipped, 4DX tested(if age appropriate), Put on heartworm/flea/tick prevention, age appropriately vaccinated, dewormed, vet checked.
