Story
Please contact Angel (4leggedlayover@gmail.com) for more information about this pet. Kobe is a sweet, shy, curly cutie, who just had a birthday Dec 1, making him officially 4 years old! He's approximately 16 pounds (although he's working on losing a couple of those)! He's a mix of poodle and shnauzer.  His former owners sadly had to give him up so he's felt their loss but is getting more comfortable in his foster home every day. He hasn't showed much interest in toys, but likes to pal around with his fellow furry foster friends, even starting to play a little. When it's time to relax, he's all about the couch snuggles.  Kobe has very good housemanners, including going potty outside, he walks well on a leash and rides nicely in the car. He has zero interest in 'marking'. While he doesn't mind a crate, he's such a good boy, he really doesn't need it and would prefer to hang with his humans as much as possible, including when it's bed time.  He hasn't been cat tested but based on his laid back demeanor, we don't anticipate any issues. Kobe does not shed but requires professional grooming every 6–8 weeks. If you have a groomer referral, please include it with your application. Kobe's ideal pet parent would be gentle, kind and patient enough to continuing coaxing him out of his shell. Because of his young age, he is not a match for older seniors. If you have further questions about Kobe, please email 4leggedlayover@gmail.com Adoption Fee: $400 – INCLUDES spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, heartworm testing and current prevention. Apply at: https://pawsandprayers.org/adoption-application/ (Please note: inquiries through Petfinder or other sites are NOT applications. Only the link above can be used. Also, your veterinarian MUST HAVE PERMISSION to speak with us; please contact them ASAP. If your vet does not have permission to speak with us, your application will not be considered.)December 16, 2025, 12:27 pm
