Story
My name is Margaret and my family needs to surrender our dog, Chloe. It pains me even to write this because she’s such an amazing dog in so many ways. Unfortunately she is very protective of our kids and barks aggressively at strangers and has nipped at people more than once. Two years ago she nipped at our friend. Last April she nipped at my mother-in-law’s leg and drew blood because she has thin skin. Just recently she nipped at my brother in law but didn’t break the skin. We hired a behavioralist for dogs and she told us Chloe is very nervous and scared-this is too much for us to handle as we have three young kids and a small house. Chloe would love a house without the stress of kids. She’s quiet, house-trained, loyal, calm and smart. The only time she gets upset is with strangers. I don’t want anyone to get hurt, especially because our kids are young with friends. Chloe needs an owner who can give her time and space to adjust. She loves other dogs, playing, running & adventures.
