Born around May 6, 2024, and weighing approximately 30 pounds, this lovable boy is ready to start a new chapter after a rough beginning. He was sadly left behind when his family moved away, but thanks to a kind-hearted Good Samaritan, Sebastian was rescued and given a second chance at life. Now he’s looking for an active family that will never leave him behind again. Sebastian is full of playful, puppy energy and thrives on companionship—he wants nothing more than to be near his people at all times. He can be vocal when separated or caged away from the family, simply because he loves being part of the action. Daily exercise, playtime, and mental stimulation will help him shine in his new home. If you're looking for a loyal, energetic companion who will keep you smiling and moving, Sebastian is your guy! His adoption fee is $300. Apply to adopt him at www.adoggie4you.org.   This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $225. Santa's Fell (from the movie the Flight Before Christmas)male2-4 years13 lbsBelieved to be a poodle and a jack russell terrier mixSanta's Fell is a bit shy and barky in his kennel but once you get him out he's very social. Loves treats and pets. He is currently grabbing treats a bit rough so probably no small children right now. He did well with other small dogs and did pretty good meeting a large poodle as well.Santa's Fell is vaccinated, flea & tick treated, tested negative for heartworm, will be tested for Lyme, will be microchipped and neutered before adoption. Tobias's adoption fee is $250. You can apply on our website www.highlandhumanesociety.org OR stop into the shelter 12- 5 pm Tuesday through Friday or 11 am to 3 pm on Saturday to meet who is available at that time. Please arrive no later than 30 minutes before we close to ensure we have time to do the adoption.Take advantage of our foster-to-adopt program, where you can take any dog 4 mos and older home for a week to make sure it is a good fit before committing to adoption.
