Story
Introducing Hattu, the adorable farm pup with a heart of gold, rescued from a life tied to a chain and now ready to find his forever home through international adoption! At first, Hattu might seem a tad shy, but with just a bit of patience and space, he blossoms into your ultimate sidekick within 3-7 days. Despite his initial timidity, Hattu melts hearts by happily allowing strangers to shower him with pets and even carry him around like a furry prince! This sweet boy gets along swimmingly with other dogs, preferring to coexist rather than initiate play. Even when faced with curious stray cats, Hattu's gentle nature shines through as he calmly follows his handler without a hint of mischief. With a moderate energy level, Hattu enjoys outdoor walks but transforms into a laid-back cuddle bug indoors. Sure, he might pull on the leash out of sheer excitement, but he quickly heed his handler's guidance with unwavering obedience. Resource guarding? Not in Hattu's vocabulary! This lovable pup happily shares his toys and treats with everyone, furry friends included. And when nature calls or his tummy rumbles, a polite bark signals his needs, quickly quieting down when his handler says "no." Travelling in the car? No problem for Hattu! He's a pro in his crate, finding comfort and security on the go. While he's flexible with indoor and outdoor potty routines for now, Hattu's eager to settle into a consistent outdoor routine once his walking schedule is set. But here's the real secret to Hattu's heart—cozy blankets and, of course, FOOD! If you're ready to be his best friend and share in all his adorable antics, Hattu is waiting with open paws to join your family and fill your life with love and laughter. Story
My name is Haram, and I'm a 1-year-old Welsh Corgi mix girl. I found myself in the City shelter just before facing the sad fate of euthanasia, but lucky for me, I got rescued and now I'm eagerly waiting for my forever family. Although I can't see because my optic nerves didn't fully develop, I'm a super affectionate girl who loves people and craves attention from everyone, even strangers! I might seem a bit reserved at first with new dogs because I can't see them, but once we get acquainted, I'm ready to play and have fun. I do have a playful streak, but I can also be a bit protective if another dog tries to provoke me, so introductions should be handled with care. However, with proper socialization, I can get along just fine with furry friends. I'm an expert at going on walks! While I may not be able to see the sights, I rely on my other senses and enjoy exploring new places. Walking in familiar areas makes me feel secure and content, and I'll happily trot along beside you, enjoying the fresh air. After our walks, I love nothing more than to snuggle up and relax. Oh, and when it comes to potty training, I'm a star! I'm equally good at using indoor pads and doing my business outside. Because I can't see, I'm a bit sensitive to loud noises, but with some love and patience, I'll adjust just fine. So, if you're looking for a sweet, affectionate companion who doesn't let a little thing like not being able to see get in the way of enjoying life, then I'm your girl! Story
My name is Mandu, and I'm here to share a little about myself in hopes of finding my forever family. I'm currently staying with a wonderful foster family in Toronto, but my story began with a bit of a rough patch. When I was just a young pup of about 5-6 months old, I encountered a serious leg injury, likely from a trap. It was tough, but thanks to some kind-hearted souls, I underwent surgery on August 5, 2022, which helped me get back on my paws and now I'm all set to find my forever home here in Canada or even the US! I absolutely adore humans and thrive on their love and attention. I'm super friendly and affectionate, always up for a cuddle session or a good ol' belly rub. Oh, and did I mention I'm great with kids? Yep, I've been hanging out with some kiddos under 13 years old, and I gotta say, we've formed quite the bond. I'm patient, gentle, and just love spending time with them. When it comes to other furry friends, I'm a social butterfly. I approach them with a playful attitude, always ready for a good romp around the yard. But if things get a little too rowdy, I know how to stand my ground and keep myself and my family safe. I'm a pro at walking on a leash, especially in quieter areas, though loud noises can startle me a bit. But don't worry, I'm not one to bark up a storm. So, what do you say? Are you the one I've been waiting for? If you're ready for a lifetime of love, laughter, and unforgettable adventures, then let's make it official!
