Story
Meet Lincoln 🐾 Lincoln is an 8-year-old Mini Australian Shepherd (born June 26, 2017) with a loving heart and a thoughtful, sensitive nature. He forms strong bonds with his people and can be an affectionate cuddler, while also appreciating his own space when he needs it. Lincoln has completed an 8-week professional training program and responds reliably to commands in German, including Sitz (sit), Bleib (stay), Platz (down), shake, high five, and come. He is both kennel trained and leash trained, making him a wonderful companion for someone who enjoys structure and consistency. He loves being outdoors and exploring, though water isn’t his favorite. True to his herding breed, Lincoln may gently herd people or other animals. He can be startled by unexpected situations and is currently on medication to help with anxiety related to fear around young children; this may not be a long-term need in the right environment. Lincoln would thrive in a calm, adult-only home or with older kids.
